1, visa
China citizens need valid passports and visas to go to Spain. You should apply for a Schengen visa of 1, 2 or above according to the number of times you enter and leave Schengen countries. When applying for a visa, it must be noted that not all EU countries are Schengen countries at present. At present, there are Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Greece, Denmark, Finland and Sweden, 13 EU countries and 2 non-EU countries, Norway and Iceland. Britain, Ireland and other 65,438+00 countries that have newly joined the European Union have not signed the Schengen Agreement.
To apply for a business visa, you need to provide the following materials: passport (valid for more than 6 months), photo, copy of ID card, application form, invitation letter, cost guarantee, medical insurance certificate, letter from the enterprise to the Spanish embassy or consulate, visa fee, etc. For details, please consult the Consular Section of the Spanish Embassy in China (tel: 010-65320780/12/3, fax: 0 10-65320784).
2. Entry and exit
At present, there is no direct flight between China and Spain, and it is generally necessary to transfer through a third country. If the flight comes from China or non-Schengen countries, China passengers will need to go through customs formalities. If the flight comes from a Schengen agreement country, China passengers, like citizens of other EU member countries, will not need to go through the customs entry formalities (because they have already gone through the entry formalities in the flight transit country). As long as the documents and procedures are complete, there will be no trouble in going through the customs entry formalities. When leaving Spain, as long as the visa has not expired, customs officers can leave the country smoothly after stamping the departure stamp on their passports.
Step 3 carry things
Generally speaking, Spanish customs rarely inspect the articles carried by inbound passengers, but sometimes they also conduct spot checks on the articles carried by some passengers. It is recommended to use ordinary suitcases when traveling, and try to avoid using packaging materials such as cartons and woven bags (easy to attract attention). Cash exceeding 60 10. 12 euros must be declared. According to EU regulations, passengers are not allowed to carry animal-derived foods (such as meat, meat products, milk and dairy products) in their luggage, except baby milk powder in commercial packages. Other kinds of food shall not exceed 1 kg. Passengers may bring personal or family articles or gifts into the country, but the quantity shall not be regarded as commercial use, and customs officers have the right to evaluate the articles carried by passengers. At present, adults over 18 can carry 200 cigarettes or 100 cigarillos or 50 cigars or 250g cut tobacco, 1 liter of wine with alcohol content above 22 degrees or 2 liters of wine with alcohol content below 22 degrees, and the perfume should not exceed 50g.
4. Health certificate
You don't need to be vaccinated against any diseases to travel to Spain. However, according to international practice, Spanish health authorities have the right to require passengers to provide health certificates. In fact, as long as there is no major epidemic in China (such as SARS), Spanish health authorities will not ask China tourists to provide health certificates.
5. pets
Spain is allowed to bring animals into the country, but the animal origin certificate and health certificate issued by the official veterinarian must be presented at the customs, and the animal vaccination materials (especially rabies vaccine) must be recorded in the certificate. Some hotels allow passengers to bring dogs and cats, but restaurants, shops and other places are not allowed to bring pets.
