/kloc-0 left Macheng as a soldier at the end of 964. After I got married in 1969, I went to Macheng to visit my father, wife and children for a month every year. In August1year, his family came to Beijing like fleeing from the desert, carrying two quilts and a traveling bag. I live in a single apartment of 16 square meters. The toilet is public, and I cook in the corridor. 1984, I was assigned to a unit building of 52 square meters, and finally I had a single-family home. 1985, I brought Wu Qin and wuyue to Beijing and lived there for nearly a year, so that the old people could enjoy the so-called city life. I haven't been back to Macheng for four years without my parents. The excuse is busy work, but in fact it is lack of money. It was not until 1989 that I made up my mind to go back to spend the New Year with my relatives and see the changes in my hometown. Unexpectedly, after returning home, my relaxed and happy mood suddenly became melancholy and heavy.
First of all, the living conditions of old relatives are not satisfactory. Although the elderly have basic food and clothing security, they live alone and are very lonely. The old man has raised four sons, one daughter and seventeen grandchildren all his life, all of whom she brought up. For children and grandchildren, the old man worked hard all his life, working day and night, and suffered a lot. Now that I am old, it is difficult to get the care and warmth I deserve. Especially after the death of the second brother, the old man became more lonely. People often say that family ties are like water flowing downwards, and a father's love for his children is hopeless. He tries his best not to ask for anything in return. But the care of the older generation by children and grandchildren is often not good enough. Not to mention others, I haven't done enough. Shame, remorse, remorse welled up in my mind, and wrote a couplet, which was an apology to my mother, a warning to myself and an exhortation to others:

Raising children and grandchildren always requires milk, sweat and blood, bit by bit, bit by bit, and kindness can be derived from heaven.
Filial piety to father, whether for work, for agriculture, for being an official, for the people, all the time, all the time, the way to be a man is always on the earth.
Zhu Dexiao comes first. What is filial piety? In the recent hit TV series "The World on Earth", the famous writer Liang expressed his views through the characters in the play. Filial piety is divided into two aspects, one is to raise the mouth and the other is to raise the heart. The so-called oral support is to take care of the food, clothing, housing and transportation of the elderly and make them healthy and comfortable. The so-called spiritual cultivation means to study hard, work hard, keep making progress, strive for good grades and good prospects, honor parents and give them spiritual comfort. It's a pity that I didn't enjoy these two aspects. There are limitations of the times here, but more importantly, we have not fulfilled our obligations as descendants, leaving behind eternal regret and pain.
Now that I am old, I have experienced many ups and downs from the grassroots to the central government in my life. I also met many classmates, colleagues, comrades-in-arms, friends, many brothers and sisters, relatives, wives and children, which is considered as countless readers. Many of them gave me help and support, and I thank them. Others regard me as a sponge and always want to squeeze out a few drops of water. Actually, I am poor, too. In New China, all cadres are paid, even Chairman Mao is no exception. Besides, a nobody like me can't stand being squeezed. Most of my life has passed, and I deeply realize that among all the people, the one who really loves me, cares about me from the heart, loves me and tolerates me is the father. As a children's song goes, "Only mothers are good in the world, and children with mothers are precious." Think about this life, the more I think about it, the more I miss my father. When people are old, they see through everything, and their thoughts and feelings are becoming more and more fragile. They became so-called old children. Sometimes when they hear this children's song, they often feel sad and even cry. If only my father were alive now! Even if they are too old to walk, it is my happiest thing to push them around the community garden in a wheelchair and bask in the sun.
? The second couplet was also written by this detective. 1989, ten years after the reform and opening up, China has undergone earth-shaking changes from the city to the countryside and from the south to the north. Everywhere is a scene of prosperity. The mountains have changed, the water has changed, and more importantly, people's mental outlook has changed. From cities to rural areas, from leading cadres to ordinary people, there is a positive momentum, study hard, and dare to explore and innovate. Wherever you go, you feel steaming and shining with hope. But the hometown in front of me is a different scene.
Let's look at our village first. Still the same pattern. The few new houses are still the same, and the materials are the same. Straw is scattered in front of and behind the house, as well as pig manure and cow dung. The two ponds in the west of the village are almost all sludge, and the shallow pond water is black, so you can neither raise fish nor drink water. The pine trees on the hillside behind the village were planted in the early days of liberation. Although it has become a forest now, most of it is crooked. I feel that the tree species are not good, and there are many red stones, so it is difficult to become useful.
Look at the hillside in front of the village. There used to be terraced fields below to grow rice. The height is terraced fields, where wheat, peanuts, sweet potatoes or cotton are planted. The current planting pattern is still the same, but I see that the ridge is getting worse and the ridge is crooked, and people seem to be not working hard. Our mountainous area is Hongling, which is very poor. This is arranged by the creator. Since ancient times, it is useless to complain about others. Therefore, in the past, people paid great attention to the improvement of soil ridges and used a lot of farmyard manure. Pig manure, cow dung, human manure, cowshed pigsty, removed kitchen soil and house cleaning garbage are all fertilizers. Drain the water in the pond and dig mud at the end of each year. We must dig turf and plant red flowers in the field. In short, a large amount of farm manure is collected during the slack season to prepare for spring ploughing. After several days of observation, no one in the village did such a thing, not even in the field.
Why is this? I talked to the villagers, and they said, now that chemical fertilizer is used, who will bother? Besides, food is worthless. I asked them what kind of rice they planted, and my answer was the old early rice and late rice. I said that Yuan Longping, a scientist, has developed high-yield and delicious hybrid rice. Why not plant it? They said, I've heard of it, I don't know how to plant it, and I don't want to spend that effort. They are very interested in Guangdong and have asked about Guangdong many times. They envy Cantonese people for being rich. Farmers not only eat and wear well, but also live in buildings and drive trailers and cars. Every family is a million households. They know a lot of rumors and stories about Guangdong. Some statements are outrageous, but they also firmly believe that their eyes are greedy. I went to Guangdong for investigation and stayed in the Pearl River Delta for more than a month. I will introduce them to how Cantonese people do it and their new ideas and concepts. They are willing to listen, but after listening, they shake their heads and sigh: "Here we are, alas …" Their faces are expressionless, and their eyes are shining with longing and confusion.
Look at the mountains, waters, villages and people in front of you. Think of my dead father and second brother. They were born and buried in Sri Lanka and have lived here all their lives. Ancestors have worked hard and sweated like rain, but they can't live a good life. Macheng is also a national poverty-stricken county. The CPC Central Committee has pointed out the road to prosperity for us for ten years. Why is the progress so slow? What is the reason? Is it only because of poor natural conditions? I have been to all counties and cities with similar surrounding conditions, and the situation is better than Macheng. Why is this? I've been thinking for a long time and a lot. In my anxiety, I wrote a long couplet, which not only expressed my concern for my hometown? Emotion is also to express the memory of my father and my second brother.
A bitter land, born in bad karma's bad karma, endless suffering, poor suffering, backward suffering. Sigh, carry water, sing softly, a thousand years of blood and tears. In the end, I still haven't changed. How to thoroughly reform and open up, sweep away the haze, get rid of the disadvantages, turn over a new page and usher in prosperity for the world.
Two generations of workers are destined to work hard all their lives, a little harder and a little harder. Cherish the big difference, stand tall and stand tall, cherish the lofty sentiments of a lifetime. After all, it's hard to pay for your ambition. We should smash the feudal shackles, revitalize civilization, do a lot of science, treat ignorance and poverty, and leave great contributions to future generations.
12 years later, 202 1, I accompanied a leading comrade back to Macheng for two days. Standing on the upstairs of the hotel, I saw a lot of high-rise buildings all around, endless, high and low, row upon row, and Macheng City has already reached a considerable scale.
Hospitals, schools, gymnasiums, libraries, parks, amusement parks, cultural squares, buses, large supermarkets and other cultural service facilities are readily available. On the wide road, cars and trucks are constantly flowing, and traffic jams often occur. The next day, a friend also arranged for me to have lunch at another friend's house in Futian River. Futian River is a mountainous area, and wide roads follow the terrain over mountains and valleys. Our car drove all the way to his door. This village is a key poverty alleviation village. I didn't expect that there were many small buildings with two or three floors in the village. Even the bungalows are all red bricks and black tiles, with large glass windows, completely new materials and new patterns, sweeping away the old appearance.
In rural areas, an important symbol of a family's living standard is the house. As long as the house is good, life is not bad.
? I only stayed in Macheng for two days, for horse racing and flower viewing. The general feeling is that Macheng has changed and got rid of poverty and backwardness. Although it is far from prosperity, it has embarked on the road of development, prosperity and civilization. I am very happy and excited, and I wrote another couplet to express my joy.
? Dabie mountain, don't worry, don't suffer, don't be stupid, work hard, develop scientifically, and start from poverty.
Macheng, a planned city, is civilized, innovative and prosperous, and gradually becomes a modern city.
? I don't remember when. Around 20I0, Yang, a cultural person in Macheng, called me and said that he would repair the former residence of Peng, the father of two bombs and one satellite, and change it into a commemorative cup, and asked me to write couplets for the commemorative cup. I was so happy that I readily agreed.
I have great respect for Peng, who was an academician of China Academy of Sciences from 65438 to 0955. Won the first prize of national natural science, the special prize of national scientific and technological progress, the scientific and technological achievement award of Heliang Lihao Foundation, and 1999 won the medal of two bombs and one star. He is a world-famous scientist. I have never met Peng, but my admiration for him and all the scientists who participated in the development of two bombs and one satellite has penetrated into the bone marrow. It can be said that without two bombs and one satellite, China will always be a weak country and bullied forever, and the Chinese nation will never be able to stand on its own feet among the nations of the world. From this perspective, their achievements can be compared with those of the founding generals, and they are real national heroes. Macheng has a Peng, which is the eternal pride of Macheng. Associated with Peng's life experience of abandoning his family and children for developing two bombs and one satellite, I wrote:
Devote one's life's efforts, sacrifice one's life, overcome difficulties and overcome difficulties, and the scientific giant bravely shoulders the morality of the times.
Casting demon Excalibur, establishing China's national prestige, prospering the country in a prosperous time, and the founding father's two bombs can be called national heroes.
Macheng is the birthplace of the Jute Uprising, and there are dozens of founding generals such as Wang Shusheng and Chen Zaidao in Jiangjun County. All these are well known and are the eternal glory of Macheng. Macheng has a tradition of resisting oppression by force since ancient times, which can be described as "martial arts live forever." William Rowan, an American historian, also made a special study on this issue, and wrote a book entitled Macheng-A Violent History of China County for Seven Centuries. Record the history of Macheng armed struggle from the end of Yuan Dynasty to 1930s. However, Macheng's culture seems to have little influence in history. Yes, there are more than 200 scholars in Macheng history, but what contribution have these scholars made to the development of science and culture in China? I haven't heard of it. I know that there are two Macheng people who can't be ignored in the cultural history of China. Preface to Wang Tengting is a masterpiece through the ages, and the story of the wind sending Wang Tengting is also sung through the ages. In fact, there is a governor Yan behind the pavilion. He rebuilt the pavilion and organized a poetry banquet. Without the platform he built, Wang Bo would have no chance to show his talents. Yes, he arranged the game for his son-in-law at first, which was a bit selfish. However, when Wang Bo wrote a shocking article, he immediately changed his attitude, fully affirmed and praised it, and reported it to the court. His broad mind, his love for talents, selflessness and noble character are admirable, which can be said to be that he finished Wang Teng Gexu. This Yan Dudu is from Macheng. The Taoist king who discovered the Dunhuang treasure house was also from Macheng. Some people called him a traitor, but in fact he was demanding the ancients with modern standards. He is illiterate. He was a soldier in the northwest when he was young. After retirement, he went to Dunhuang to become a monk. How did he know the value of these cultural relics? The second is to quickly report the discovery of Dunhuang to the official and report it to the court step by step. The government doesn't care, so does he need to be personally responsible? Third, he sells some money for the maintenance of temples, not for the personal enjoyment of religious beliefs. He is the hero who found the treasure and protected Dunhuang, which is desolate and dilapidated and nobody cares about it. It is well-deserved to list him as a cultural celebrity. I haven't studied the history of Macheng, and I don't know much about it. Two years ago, I heard that someone suggested that the author of Jin Ping Mei was from Macheng. I don't know what the basis is. Jin Ping Mei is a work that reflects the secular society and has a great influence on later generations. It is said that A Dream of Red Mansions was deeply influenced by it. If such a thing is taken seriously, it is also a major event in the cultural history of Macheng.
? In any case, from the perspective of history and the world, Macheng's science and technology culture is still weak. Fortunately, after Peng, Macheng produced two academicians, and two young people won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award. It is said that several successful scientists have become the leaders of this subject. Yang Jie and his wife, the directors of TV series The Journey to the West, are Macheng people, which is a huge cultural heritage left by Macheng people to the whole country and even the whole world. Dabie Mountain is a place with profound cultural accumulation, which has produced shining historical and cultural celebrities such as Bi Sheng, Li Shizhen, Li Siguang and Wen Yiduo. After liberation, Macheng culture and education developed rapidly. Determined to learn, determined to become useful, has become a common practice in Macheng. I believe that Macheng Club is full of talents.
