The method to prevent rabies is to inoculate rabies vaccine, and the method is as follows:
1. Vaccinate before exposure, that is, before a healthy person is bitten or scratched by rabies, vaccinate against rabies. For people who often work in other places, rural postmen who walk from village to village, people who travel to epidemic areas, people who live in rabies epidemic areas, and staff in dog farms, they are all suitable vaccination targets. Inoculation of three doses of rabies vaccine at 0, 7, 2 1 day, each dose of 1.0ml, can obtain immunity over 1 year.
2. Vaccinate after exposure. Anyone who is bitten or scratched by rabies or other animals, regardless of age or sex, should immediately treat the local wound, rinse it repeatedly with soapy water, and then disinfect it several times with iodine tincture. Then fully vaccinate rabies vaccine in time. Generally, the bitten people were injected with rabies vaccine 1 needle on the 0 th day (1 day), the 3 rd day (the 4 th day, and so on), the 7 th day, 14 day and the 28 th day, with 5 needles * * *. Children use the same amount.
3. For severe bites (three bites on the head, neck, fingers, multiple parts or mucous membrane), double doses of rabies vaccine should be injected on the 0 th and 3 rd days, and anti-rabies serum (40IU/Kg) or anti-rabies immunoglobulin (20IU/Kg) should be injected at the same time as rabies vaccine on the 0 th day. Those who use anti-rabies serum or immunoglobulin in combination must complete the whole course of vaccine injection, and then strengthen the injection of 2 ~ 3 doses of vaccine. That is, on the day of 15, 75 or 10, 20 and 90, rabies vaccine 1 dose was injected intensively, and a total of 9 or 10 doses were injected.
