Similarly, what Taoism calls letting nature take its course, doing whatever you want, or not doing it, is also this realm. Although the realm of self-denial and see no evil mentioned by Confucianism is a little lower, it also suppresses personality and obeys the environment. Modern spiritual practice also advocates abandoning the ego and integrating it.
Such people will make people very comfortable and uncomfortable. What makes people feel comfortable is that everything goes with you and will never get in your way. What makes people uncomfortable is that he is too smooth, egoless and unpredictable. In addition, his relaxation and balance will also make people envy and hate.
Therefore, most people don't yearn for such normality, but prefer not to be so normal, rather have a little nervousness and personality.
When most people are neurotic, normal is abnormal.
The theory of object relationship holds that newborn babies are mentally ill, entering marginal state (personality disorder) at the age of two, neurotic at the age of three to six, and normal after the age of six, which is obviously too idealistic. According to self-psychology, birth is mental illness, infancy and school age are personality disorders, adolescence is neurosis, and adulthood is normal and too idealistic. The fact is that it becomes normal only in old age. Confucius was only "seventy years old, and he did whatever he wanted without overstepping the bounds." Even at this age, only a few people become normal, while most people become Alzheimer's disease and never have a chance to be normal.
Some people say that counselors can't be normal. People who are too normal are not suitable to be counselors. A little neurosis is best. If it is too normal, there will be no troubles, and it will be impossible to understand other people's troubles and feel that others are moaning without illness. Even if he wants to help others, his methods are often unrealistic and mostly belong to principles. It's easy to talk standing up. Or think that other people's troubles are caused by themselves, what goes around comes around, "existence is reasonable", destiny takes a hand, don't worry, you have to accept yourself and don't need a counselor to save you.
Similarly, Buddha generally treats no one, because in the eyes of Buddha, all beings are equal. Even if you measure people, it's just a way of saying that people measure themselves. Bodhisattva is mainly responsible for educating people. Bodhisattva is a person who reaches the realm of Buddha but is unwilling to become a Buddha. He is still a human being, so he can understand the sufferings of ordinary people and treat them in a way suitable for ordinary people from their actual situation.
