Posting rules: post a series of articles about typhoid fever in simple terms every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
This series of articles interprets the mechanism and scope of application behind TCM prescriptions in popular and easy-to-understand modern scientific language, and helps readers to establish systematic TCM thinking, which can gain some gains and experiences at different levels. In order to make the truth clear, each paragraph will be longer and suitable for slow taste. It is suggested to study the series of "Entering Chinese Medicine" before entering this series.
The solar system of the human body is the most superficial defense system of the human body, and the vitality of the human body spreads from the inside out to maintain the "positive pressure" of the human body to resist the entry of external pathogens into the human body. To sum up briefly, the basic energy substances flowing in the human body are gas, water, body fluid and blood. The four energy substances circulating in the solar surface system come from the supply inside the body, which is the result of the cooperation between the solar system and five other systems. Among them, "qi" mainly plays a role in dispersing, warming and protecting the human body, and is the direct energy substance of human physiological activities; As the main carrier of human body, water plays a role in moistening human body and maintaining its ecological balance. Blood plays the role of nourishing human body, providing nutrition and biochemical metabolism; Body fluid plays a role in lubricating, regulating human hormones and balancing yin and yang. Qi comes from the growth of kidney, the spleen and stomach are nourished by diet, and the lungs breathe; Water and liquid mainly come from the predetermined evaporation of kidney and bladder; Body fluid mainly comes from the transportation of spleen and stomach, and blood mainly comes from the transportation, storage, growth and regulation of liver. In fact, the metaplasia and operation of four basic energy substances, qi, body fluid, blood and water, are not produced by a certain system or several systems of the human body. All the internal organs and meridian systems of the human body are involved in the production and transportation of qi, water, body fluid and blood, and these energy substances are constantly transforming and interdependent. The above four categories are only divided for convenience.
When exogenous pathogens invade the human solar system, if the solar surface system has enough resistance, the pathogens will affect the solar system and convert it into heat. Transmission of internal heat to Yangming system will lead to dryness and heat of Yangming system, which will cause abnormal decline. Transmission of at least Yang will lead to abnormal generation and regulation of yang in human body. The Taiyin system is in charge of the metaplasia of body fluid, and the spleen and stomach of human body are a pair of yin and yang relations. The stomach belongs to Yang, which is in charge of food consumption; The spleen belongs to the Taiyin, which is responsible for transferring body fluids to the stomach and helping the stomach digest food. The evil heat of the sun system will also be transferred to the spleen, which will excessively consume the metaplasia of body fluid, so the method of nourishing body fluid should be adopted. White Tiger Decoction mentioned in Article 99 can not only moisten Yangming, but also tonify Taiyin spleen and body fluid.
If the resistance of the human solar system is insufficient, the cold pathogen can break through the defense line of the solar system and directly harm the Taiyin spleen system; In addition, direct drinking of supercooled food and drinks will also lead to direct pathogenic factors of the Taiyin spleen system. Cold pathogen can inhibit the transport of spleen yang, leading to the weakening of human body's ability to transport water and body fluids. Usually, cold pathogens can lead to diarrhea, diarrhea, typical spleen and stomach deficiency, lack of transport and transformation, and loss of appetite. Another situation is that the spleen is cold and the stomach is hot, which is common in modern society. Because the Taiyin spleen is yang-deficient, the ability to transport body fluids and body fluids is poor, so the spleen can't provide enough body fluids to Yangming's stomach, and there are symptoms such as dryness and heat in the stomach, thirst and hunger, which are common symptoms of many obese and diabetic patients.
Lizhong Pill is also called Ginseng Pill, and the decoction is Lizhong Decoction or ginseng soup. There are not many mechanisms of direct discussion in Treatise on Febrile Diseases, but many places of indirect discussion.
Article 386 of Cholera in Treatise on Febrile Diseases states that if diarrhea, headache and fever are caused by the invasion of cold pathogens into the gastrointestinal tract, "those who do not use water for cold should be treated with Lizhong Pill". The prescription of Lizhong Pill is: ginseng, dried ginger, fried licorice and Atractylodes macrocephala. Four flavors, mashed and sieved, honey and pills, such as black-bone chicken. Boil the soup several times, mix one pill, grind it into powder, and take it warm, three or four times a day and twice a night; The abdomen is not hot, which is beneficial to Sansi Pill. However, it is not as good as soup and soup method. Cut the four things into two pieces, boil them with eight liters of water and three liters of water, and warm them up for three times a day. If the umbilical cord is built, the kidney is pneumatic, and Gui Siliang is added to the operation; If you vomit too much, remove the operation and add three or two pieces of ginger; Under a lot, but also with surgery; For those who are nervous, add two or two poria cocos; Sharbat, plus surgery, divided into four and a half; For patients with abdominal pain, ginseng is added, four and a half feet in front; For those with cold nature, add dried ginger, which is divided into four and a half in front of the foot; If the stomach is full, remove the operation and add a piece of aconite. After eating soup, if you eat it, drink a liter of hot porridge, which will be a little warmer. Don't expose your clothes and quilt.
Lizhong Pill is taken in a special way: firstly, the four herbs are mashed and mixed with honey to form pills, then the pills are dissolved in boiling water, and the soup is taken with the dregs until the stomach is hot. After eating Lizhong decoction, your stomach should be hot, which means that the qi of spleen yang has recovered. If there is no fever in the abdomen, it means that the drug is mild and severe, and the "Yizhi Sansi Pill" is based on abdominal fever. Add and subtract "If the stomach is full, remove the operation and add a branch of aconite." After drinking soup, if you eat it, drink a liter of hot porridge, which will be a little warmer. Don't expose clothes and quilts. "That is to say, after taking the medicine, you should not only drink hot porridge, but also cover the quilt, so that Shui Gu's qi can help stomach yang and dispel cold pathogens.
Article 396 mentions: If you feel sick for a long time after a serious illness and your chest catches a cold, you should take medicine to warm yourself up and take Chinese medicine pills. People often have saliva in their mouths, which is caused by the weakness of the spleen and stomach and the inability to limit body fluids. The common cold in the chest is treated with Lizhong decoction.
Among the four drugs of Lizhong decoction, dried ginger is the main drug of Taiyin warming spleen, which can warm spleen and yang and mobilize Taiyin body fluid to transport and transform; The role of Atractylodes macrocephala is to strengthen the spleen and enhance the ability of human body to mobilize and control water and fluid, thus enhancing the "elasticity" and "tolerance" of the spleen and stomach; Roasted licorice has the meaning of "positioning" the middle jiao, and it can also replenish the spleen and produce fluid; Ginseng is used to supplement qi and body fluid of upper jiao, because deficiency of spleen-yang often leads to insufficient supply of middle jiao to upper jiao.
In Treatise on Febrile Diseases, there are several changes in the use of Lizhong Decoction:
Article 163 says: "If you don't get rid of the external symptoms of solar diseases, you will benefit from heat, but not stop. If the heart is swollen and hard, and the exterior and interior are puzzled, Guizhi Ginseng Chicken Soup will be in charge. Guizhi ginseng soup: Cinnamomum cassia twig, peeled, licorice root, roasted, Atractylodes macrocephala, ginseng, dried ginger, five flavors, nine liters of water, first boil four flavors, take five liters, and cinnamon, take three liters, and take it every morning and evening. "
This paper discusses the syndrome and treatment of excessive yin deficiency, cold and heat, and pathogenic sun. In Treatise on Febrile Diseases, Mr. Zhong Jing mentioned many times that when exogenous pathogens compete with healthy qi in the exterior-interior system of the sun, premature use of purgative therapy will easily lead to exogenous pathogens entering. The "sun disease" here can easily lead to fever and stomach deficiency and cold, resulting in the situation that "heat is beneficial, but the benefits are not limited" The "heart distension and hardness" here is the cold distension caused by misuse of the lower recipe, which is different from the heat distension of 1 10. The treatment adopts the method of resolving the exterior and interior. Guizhi Shentang is actually adding Guizhi blindly on the basis of Lizhong decoction, warming Taiyin with Lizhong decoction, restoring spleen yang transport, relieving exterior syndrome with Guizhi, and eliminating exterior evil of the sun.
Zhongjing specially suggested in the decoction: "Five flavors should be taken with nine liters of water, four flavors should be cooked first, and five liters should be taken." "Cook four flavors first" means to cook four flavors of Lizhong soup first, and take five liters. "Inner cinnamon, cook more", then after cassia twig goes down, cook again. Five liters of boiling water needs three liters. Take a liter of warm clothes twice during the day and once at night. In Treatise on Febrile Diseases, Zhongjing has many similar reminders about decoction. Ramulus Cinnamomi is decocted at the same time instead of Lizhong decoction, in order to make Ramulus Cinnamomi play the role of relieving exterior syndrome. Cinnamon cassia twig is boiled in water for a short time, which is not affected by ginseng and licorice, and retains a strong effect of relieving exterior syndrome. Ramulus Cinnamomi smells pungent and warm, and long-term cooking will also spread the medicinal properties in advance. When we often encounter drugs with frivolous smell, we usually take the method of frying at the back for a short time.
Article 277: "Those who are self-interested and not thirsty belong to the lunar calendar. Because of their hidden cold, they will serve four generations when they are warm."
The meaning of this article is: if the purgation is very severe and you are not thirsty, it is "Taiyin" because the spleen in the middle jiao is too cold. Moderate cold is usually gastrointestinal hydrops, so you won't be thirsty. If you are thirsty due to lower energizer, it is usually because the kidney yang and kidney qi of lower energizer are insufficient, and water cannot be mobilized to liquefy body fluid.
Lizhong Pill plus aconite is aconite Lizhong Pill, which belongs to "four generations". When the human body is too cold due to Taiyin, or the cold due to less yin deficiency has been affected, and dried ginger is not enough to warm Taiyin spleen, aconite can be added on the basis of Lizhong decoction.
Modern people are familiar with yin deficiency and coldness, and Fuzi Lizhong Decoction has a wide range of applications:
Obesity. Obesity is mostly due to the deficiency of the spleen and stomach of Taiyin, which can not mobilize the body fluid, and the body fluid gradually stays in the body, leading to obesity. Taking Fuzi Lizhong decoction as the basic prescription and adding poria cocos to transport Taiyin and diuresis can achieve the effect of losing weight. If damp-heat accumulates, Herba Artemisiae Scopariae, Rhizoma Coptidis and Yangming damp-heat can be added as appropriate. Thin. Emaciation is mostly due to the deficiency of both spleen yin and spleen yang, which can not effectively absorb nutrition and leave enough water in the body. Fuzi Lizhong decoction can be used as the basic prescription, and Atractylodes macrocephala can be reused to strengthen the "water absorption and storage" ability of spleen soil. Unlike obesity, diuretic drugs cannot be used, and drugs that nourish yin and promote fluid production can be added according to physical fitness. For spleen-yang deficiency and spleen-yin deficiency, Zhongjing usually uses dried ginger and trichosanthes root for compatibility. Diabetes. From the point of view of traditional Chinese medicine, diabetes is not an organism polysaccharide, but the spleen deficiency causes glycogen to be effectively stored in muscle organs. Taking Fuzi Lizhong Decoction as the basic prescription, Poria cocos and Trichosanthes root can be added as appropriate according to the patient's physique and state. Chinese yam and Euryale ferox can be added for deficiency of Taiyin essence. Deficiency and cold of gastrointestinal tract. Fuzi Lizhong decoction is effective for patients with stomach deficiency and cold, and can quickly improve stomach deficiency and cold. It is common in modern times that deficiency and cold of the stomach are dominant, but deficiency turns heat into dampness, so drugs such as Coptidis Rhizoma and Scutellariae Radix can be used to "assist". Usually, even if the stomach is pure cold syndrome, adding a small amount of Rhizoma Coptidis will be better. Coptis chinensis can "thicken the stomach", enhance the storage capacity of the spleen and stomach, and reduce Yangming. Frequent urination or nocturia. At present, frequent micturition and nocturia are mostly caused by kidney-yang deficiency, which can not vaporize water well. Deficiency of focal qi due to kidney-yang deficiency can easily lead to bladder contraction weakness and lack of elasticity, insufficient urine storage capacity and capacity, nocturnal enuresis, bed wetting in children, etc. Fuzi Lizhong Pill can effectively improve the Yang Qi of spleen and kidney, and enhance the therapeutic ability and "elasticity" of spleen and kidney to water. Heart yang deficiency or heart qi deficiency. Fuzi Lizhong Decoction can effectively supplement the yang of middle jiao and upper jiao, and can improve and regulate a variety of chronic heart diseases, heart-qi deficiency and even mild depression caused by heart-yang deficiency. By analogy, a variety of intractable diseases can be solved by using the mechanism of Fuzi Lizhong Decoction.
(1) This number is the first person to interpret Chinese medicine with modern scientific language system in today's headlines, aiming to help Chinese medicine lovers enter the door of Chinese medicine and the room, and improve the level of theory and practical application.
Someone asked why not teach some folk remedies or quick elimination methods, and the answer was as follows:
Headlines have many unsystematic methods, or unauthorized reprinting of scattered hot articles, but the foundation is not firm and can not last.
I hope my fans can systematically study the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, realize self-treatment and benefit themselves.
As doctors, the greatest expectation is that everyone should not outsource their health to hospitals or others.
If you know yourself, you won't get sick and seek medical treatment, and you can also avoid the harm of excessive medical treatment to your body.
