If the host country can fly directly to China, it is forbidden to transfer from the United States to China

1. Third-country personnel with direct flights to China should not travel to China via Los Angeles, and the Consulate General will not issue health codes for such personnel.

2. There is no direct flight to China in the host country, so it is suggested to carefully consider the travel risks and decide whether to go to China. If there is an emergency, you must go to China via Los Angeles. Regardless of the mode of transportation, you must:

The first stage: "double detection" in the country of origin, and apply for effective health code according to the requirements of Chinese embassies and consulates in the local area.

The second stage: according to the notification requirements of the Consulate General, conduct "double testing" in Los Angeles, submit the test certificate and apply for the health code.

COVID-19 is diagnosed or tested positive, and must follow the following procedures when leaving Los Angeles.

Passengers who have a history of COVID-19 infection and have been diagnosed with COVID-19 virus, or passengers who have not been diagnosed but are positive for nucleic acid and IgM antibody, should go through the following procedures if they leave Los Angeles:

(1) After recovery, lung examination and nucleic acid detection were performed twice (the sampling interval was not less than 24 hours), and the diagnosis certificate with lung ct or X-ray results and the certificate issued by the hospital that both nucleic acid tests were negative were submitted to the Consulate General for review by e-mail.

(2) Upon examination by the Consulate General, please continue the isolation management and health monitoring on your own 14 days.

(3) If the isolation monitoring situation is normal, conduct "double inspection" within 2 days before departure as required, and submit corresponding certificates to apply for health code.

Foreigners who hold three valid residence permits in China need the approval of the consulate before going to China.

Starting from 1 and February 18, foreigners who fly to China with valid work, personal and reunion permits must first submit their passports, residence permits, reasons for coming to China and other materials to the Consulate General for pre-examination.

2. After the confirmation of the Consulate General's mail, we will purchase air tickets for "double detection" of nucleic acids and antibodies. Without the prior consent of the Consulate General, the health code will not be issued.

3. Foreigners holding the above-mentioned residence permit in China need to reduce unnecessary cross-border travel within the validity period of the residence permit. Once the epidemic is serious, it is difficult to return to China as scheduled.

4. The above requirements do not apply to China citizens and foreigners who have recently applied for and obtained emergency and humanitarian visas.

Except for those who hold the above three types of residence permits, the Announcement on Temporary Suspension of Entry of Foreigners with Valid Chinese Visa and Residence Permit issued by China on March 26th, 2020 is still valid.
