Line 3 runs north-south through the west side of Fenhe River, passing Fenxi Road, Heping Road, Changfeng West Street, Qianfeng South Road and Longcheng Street; The east-west trunk line across Fenhe River connecting the two banks of Fenhe River is 33.7 kilometers long, with 27 stations, including 6 urban rail transit interchange stations.
Line 4 connects the districts on both sides of Fenhe River in the main city group, passing through the roads: Xinghua Street, Wuyi Road, Bingzhou South Road, Wucheng Road, Dayun Road, Tongda Street and Renmin Road; The north-south trunk line covering the main passenger corridors in the city is 34.0 kilometers long, with 29 stations, including 6 urban rail transit interchange stations.
Line 5 is an east-west encrypted line, passing through roads: South Inner Ring West Street and Changfeng Street; It mainly strengthens the connection between the two banks of the Fenhe River in the south of the main city, with a line length of 19.9 km and 8 stations 18, including 5 urban rail transit interchange stations.

Line 6 is an east-west urban line, passing Renmin Road and Longhu Street. It is mainly located in Yuanjing New City Group, which strengthens the connection between Xiaodian and Yuci in the south of the central city. Line 7 is the backbone of the city connecting Taiyuan and Yuci, mainly passing through South Central Road, Wusu Municipal Center and Yuci Northern New District Center, and extending to Xiuwen. Mainly to strengthen the rapid contact between Taiyuan and Yuci, and promote the integrated development of Taiyuan and Yuci. Line 8 is an L-shaped backbone line connecting Taiyuan and Yuci. It starts from the vicinity of Chaicun in the north, passes through the downtown area of Taiyuan along Xiqu Road and Xinjinci Road, passes through the Olympic Sports Center, and reaches the old city of Yuci in the east. Mainly strengthen the rapid contact between Taiyuan's main urban area, new urban area and Yuci, and promote the integrated development of taiyuan metropolitan. The line is 49.4 kilometers long, with 27 stations, including urban rail transit interchange station 10.
Line 9 is a city line connecting Taiyuan and Qingxu, starting from the transfer station of Line 8 in the north, passing through Jinyuan and along Daxin Jinci Road.
The expressway has been transported to the south of Qingxu County. It mainly strengthens the rapid connection between the main urban area, the new urban area and Qingxu in Taiyuan, with a line length of 30.9 kilometers and 15 stations, of which rail transit interchange station 1 seat.
10 line is a city line connecting Yangqu County and Taiyuan in the north-south direction, starting from Yangqu County in the north, entering the north of Taiyuan along Dayun Expressway Corridor, and then passing through Xinnan Third Lane, Datong Road, Zhonggang Street and other roads to reach the north area of Sangui. This line mainly strengthens the connection between Yangqu and the central city by changing to the urban rail line in the central city.
