How to prevent occupational diseases caused by dust

To prevent occupational diseases caused by dust, there is a classic eight-character policy, that is, comprehensive measures such as "leather, water, safety, wind, protection, management, teaching and inspection".

"Leather" refers to the technological innovation and transformation of production technology and equipment.

"Water" refers to wet operation, spraying water to prevent dust from flying.

"Dense" means sealing the productive dust and then pumping it away by ventilation.

"Wind" refers to ventilation and dust removal.

"Protection" refers to personal protection. Workers should use protective equipment and wear dust masks or helmets to prevent dust from entering the human respiratory tract.

"Management" refers to strengthening dust control management, establishing system, updating and maintaining equipment.

"Teaching" refers to publicity and education, enhancing self-protection awareness and mobilizing the enthusiasm of all parties.

"Inspection" regularly carries out health checks on workers exposed to dust, monitors the dust concentration in the production environment, strengthens law enforcement supervision, and urges employers to take dust-proof measures to improve working conditions.
