Anhui Health Vocational College is a provincial public full-time general higher vocational college. Its predecessor was Wuhu Hospital Nursing School, which was founded in 1926. It has gone through the running stages of Wuhu Health School, Chizhou Health School and Anhui Family Planning School. On March 20 12, it was upgraded to Anhui Population Vocational College, and it was officially included in the ranks of full-time colleges and universities.
It was rated as a provincial demonstration secondary vocational school and a national advanced collective named by the Ministry of Personnel and the National Population and Family Planning Commission.
