Positive Psychological Quality _ Research on the Cultivation of Students' Positive Psychological Personality Quality in Higher Vocational Schools

[Abstract] Based on the psychological and personality characteristics of students in colleges and vocational schools in the new period, under the guidance of the theory of positive psychological personality quality, this paper reveals the necessity of cultivating students' positive psychological personality quality in colleges and vocational schools, and explores strategies for cultivating students' positive psychological personality quality in view of the problems existing in the training process of colleges and universities.

Cultivating students' healthy personality and developing students' personality quality in an all-round way are important topics put forward by economic and social development for colleges and vocational schools. "Cultivating positive mental personality quality is the core content of positive mental health education." [1] It is of great significance for students' physical and mental development and for verifying the effectiveness of educational methods in colleges and vocational schools.

First, the necessity of cultivating students' positive psychological personality in higher vocational colleges

(A) to cultivate students' positive psychological quality is the need of students' own development.

According to seligman's research on positive psychology, the essence of positive psychology can be summarized as follows: positive psychology is a science based on psychology, which studies people's positive qualities such as virtue, strong will, independent personality and development potential. Grasping the positive quality of students' personality, paying attention to cultivating students' positive psychology, mobilizing students' enthusiasm in study, life, practice and interpersonal communication, and enabling students to develop their own quality and ability in the process of positive psychological and emotional experience and positive action are conducive to cultivating students' sound personality, improving students' ability to cope with setbacks and meeting the needs of self-realization.

From the above figure, we can draw the following conclusions: positive psychology is a science based on psychology, which has a certain guiding role in cultivating students' positive psychological personality and is an important basis for the cultivation and formation of students' positive psychological personality; Personality quality of positive psychology is the essence and main research content of positive psychology. It can be said that grasping the important factor of "personality quality of positive psychology" is conducive to the development of positive psychology methods and promotes the development of positive psychology.

(2) Cultivating students' positive psychological quality is to practice the theory of all-round development of human beings.

Marxist theory of "all-round development of human beings" reveals the development of human beings in an ideal human society from a philosophical point of view. Marx mentioned in the Outline of Feuerbach that we should give full play to people's subjective initiative on the basis of persisting in practice, and demonstrated the important role of people's subjective initiative. The core of Scientific Outlook on Development is "people-oriented", which is based on the all-round development and personality improvement of students in colleges and vocational schools. Man's all-round development refers to the exertion of man's psychology and personality, which embodies man's personality and particularity. Positive psychological quality is the inevitable requirement of people's all-round development. Cultivating students' positive psychological quality in colleges and vocational schools is an important embodiment of studying and practicing Scientific Outlook on Development in colleges and universities, and also a political guarantee for colleges and universities to pursue their own development and conform to the requirements of the times.

(3) Cultivating students' positive psychological personality quality is the subject of mental health education.

Under the background of economic globalization, ideological pluralism and values pluralism, the psychological problems of college students have become an important issue of concern to the country and the whole society. Excavating students' positive psychology and cultivating students' personality quality is a new subject entrusted by the times to mental health education. It is the fundamental task for colleges and universities to cultivate and tap students' potential, make them develop physically and mentally in an all-round way, and give full play to their personality traits by tapping the positive psychological qualities and factors in their minds that are conducive to their own development and building a harmonious society, observing and analyzing the personality factors for different students and promoting the formation of good personality traits with positive psychological state. Therefore, it is necessary for colleges and vocational schools to formulate practical strategies to cultivate students' positive psychological personality according to the development requirements of the present era and the research status of mental health education.

Second, the problems existing in the cultivation of students' positive psychological personality in higher vocational colleges

After the Ministry of Education issued the Opinions on Strengthening Mental Health Education for College Students, colleges and vocational schools have made great achievements in mental health education for college students. However, through questionnaire survey and individual conversation with students in a comprehensive university, the author found that there are some main problems in cultivating students' positive psychological personality in colleges and vocational schools, such as lack of attention, outdated educational methods, lack of educational system and lack of independence of students themselves, which are not conducive to the formation of college students' rebellious psychology.

1. Lack of attention. When universities and vocational schools carry out mental health education for college students, most of them focus on solving the existing psychological problems from the existing problems, lacking attention to the positive psychological quality of college students, unable to understand the psychological dynamics of colleges and universities in time, let alone cultivate students' personality quality. On the one hand, it is manifested in students' self-cognition. The phenomenon of behavioral convergence makes college students hide their positive psychology and personality qualities, thinking that those negative psychology and behaviors recognized by everyone are right, and not knowing that the display of personality qualities is a manifestation of self-improvement and a negative psychological state for the speed of economic and social development; On the other hand, it is reflected in the importance attached by colleges and universities. When educating college students, colleges and educators take academic performance as the standard of cultivating talents, but they don't pay attention to tapping the positive psychology of college students and ignore the cultivation of personality quality.

2. The mode of education is single. The theoretical indoctrination method put forward by Lenin is the basic method of ideological and political education for college students. The development of the times has put forward higher requirements for colleges and universities, and a single theoretical indoctrination method is difficult to meet the psychological environment and self-development requirements of students to some extent. Everything in the world is developing. If the theory is to develop, the ways and means to support it will certainly develop with it. Too single method will hinder the absorption and application of new theories and affect the timeliness of educational achievements. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a new method to cultivate students' positive psychological personality, which is not only acceptable to students, but also conducive to their physical and mental development.

3. Lack of education system. The ideological and political education and mental health education in our country have the problem of systematic deficiency to a certain extent. The main reason for this problem is that the role of environment in the systematic link is neglected, which leads to the "island effect" of ideological and political education. "Island effect" is a figurative term, which can be widely used. When a thing or system is separated from its related conditions or environment, it is like an island in the sea. [2] The education system is like an industrial chain in production for colleges and universities, and any link that is blocked will affect the operation of the whole production. Therefore, ideological and political education and mental health education are not isolated. It is necessary to form a systematic educational network with society and family to cultivate and tap students' positive psychological personality, which will further contribute to the formation and physical and mental development of students' positive psychological personality.

Thirdly, the strategy of cultivating students' positive psychological personality in higher vocational colleges.

The cultivation of college students' positive psychological personality is a systematic project, which needs long-term improvement and development. The quality of this project is related to the cultivation of national innovative talents and the construction of a big country with human resources. It is feasible to explore the cultivation strategy of students' positive psychological personality from three aspects: cognitive concept, innovative method and environment creation, which is in line with students' physical and mental development and the requirements of the times.
