Animal fat: usually made of animal fat. The vaporization temperature of butter is about 230 degrees, and the ignition point is slightly higher than 300 degrees. The main effective component is triglyceride.
Beeswax: It basically contains no triglyceride, but is a higher ester formed by an acid with 16 carbon (palmitic acid or palmitoleic acid) and a higher alcohol with 30 carbon. A kind of ash insect from Sichuan, which secretes a kind of ash on ash trees, is called "Sichuan wax" and is also called Fraxinus mandshurica in the international market.
Cetacin: Esters of palmitol and palmitic acid, each containing 16 carbons.
Plant wax: mainly produced in tropical palm trees, sumac trees, candelilla trees, sugar cane and so on. It is more stable than animal wax source. Palm wax is very similar to whale wax.
At present, paraffin (mainly saturated alkanes) is the most widely used petroleum by-product.
