The South Campus of Shenyang Conservatory of Music covers an area of 120 mu, with a ground building of 654.38+10,000 square meters. Standardized student apartments (equipped with telephones, desks and separate toilets) that can accommodate more than 3,000 people and a dining center for 2,000 people provide students with a broad living space.

The college has complete teaching facilities, including a library with a collection of 65,438+10,000 volumes, 440 piano rooms, 20 dance classrooms and body rehearsal halls, leading digital recording studios, MIDI classrooms, nonlinear video editing rooms, multimedia classrooms, digital piano classrooms, a 3,400-square-meter teaching building for film and television performances, and more than 40 classrooms for basic cultural courses and professional basic courses.

There are ten departments in the south campus: vocal music department (singing American and folk songs), instrumental music department (playing Chinese and western musical instruments), music education department, art media department, art business department, art literature department, modern music department, film and television performance department, song creation and midi production department and dance department.

The college has a team of high-quality and professional teachers. There are 100 tenured professors with excellent skills and passionate young scholars. There are 468 full-time and part-time teachers (including 32 full-time teachers1person and 47 external tenured professors1person). Based on the forefront of teaching reform, reflecting the development direction of advanced culture, the college has taken the road of internationalization, established inter-school cooperative relations with world-class music institutions such as the Italian Vicenza Conservatory of Music and the Huysmans Conservatory of Music of the University of Rochester, and sent students abroad for further study every year.

Based on the philosophy of "making music and dance popular", the college aims at "cultivating artistic and practical talents who are proficient in music, dance and performing arts and meet the needs of social development", and is oriented to the needs of social art and enrolls students nationwide.
