Introduction to HongLing Dance

From 65438 to 0950, the red silk dance collectively created by Changchun Art Troupe was the product of a specific historical period. From the good news of the Liberation War to the birth of New China, the social status of the people of China has changed greatly, and they have released their long-accumulated joy through various forms. The mass street yangko movement has become a new force in the new popular culture, especially in northern Shaanxi and northeast China. Through the continuous enrichment and improvement of this dance form, the fiery dance revolution wave is constantly rising. It can be said that the red silk dance is a complete processing, refining, summarizing and sublimation of street culture. Both content and form are full of the brand of that particular period. The creative team of "Red Silk Dance" once learned the basic movements and techniques of dancing long silk from folk artists and opera artists in batches, and kept learning and applying them in practice. At first, they broke through the traditional performance method of long silk, especially increased the intensity, amplitude and difficulty of the dancers' dance movements, and handled the speed in various ways, which led to the improvement of props: increased the width and length of long silk, replaced its classical color with revolutionary romanticism, borrowed the production method of long silk from the traditional folk acrobatic program "Hundred Towers" and connected it with small wooden sticks at the end. In this way, the arm of force was stretched out. New technology requires the improvement of props, and the innovation of props further enriches the skills and vocabulary of filament dance and expands its performance space. Secondly, "Red Silk Dance" organically combines the festive, refreshing and beautiful northeast yangko with the bold and rough northern Shaanxi yangko, bringing out the best in each other, forming a warm, comfortable and lively stage yangko feature in the new period, which is extremely infectious.
