What is it like to study at Tibet University?

Studying at Tibet University has the following experiences:

1. Free and useless. My favorite university is Fudan University, and the university where I studied for my undergraduate degree is in Tibet. It would actually be okay to go to Tibet to experience life, but you have to admit that there are fewer opportunities and resources in the border areas compared to the mainland. But if you want to achieve your goals, then many problems will be solved easily. There is no shame in asking if you don’t understand.

Speaking of which, I still feel inferior. Of course, this is just my personal state. My undergraduate major is physics, but I must admit that I am very poor at it. I am very good, but my teachers are really not. They all have Ph.D.s in 1985. Of course, good learning does not necessarily mean good teaching. After all, students have different levels. My suggestion is that it is actually quite OK to go to Tibet to study liberal arts. Living in Lhasa is also very good.

2. Tibetan students are friendly. They are very easy-going and not as utilitarian as our Han classmates. They are better at singing and dancing. Those children are also very simple. I don't agree with what others say about their barbarism. They are the most considerate people I have ever met, and their innocence is as pure as the sky.

3. It’s really fun. Lhasa, Tibet, is a famous plateau city with the most distinctive personality and alluring charm in the world, with many nearby attractions. The Potala Palace is the largest palace-style building complex at high altitude in the world today. It contains countless priceless treasures and is a treasure house of Tibetan religious culture. You can also overlook the entire city of Lhasa from here. When going to the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, it is recommended to find a Tibetan tour guide who will introduce Tibetan culture in detail. Otherwise, if you don't know what it means when you go in for a walk, it means you haven't gone. ?

How to adapt to the plateau environment faster?

1. When reaching plateau areas above 2,700 meters above sea level, tourists should not overwork themselves and avoid strenuous physical activities. On your first day in Lhasa, don’t be too excited. It’s best to get more sleep to adapt to the high altitude environment.

2. Travelers should not drink alcohol during the itinerary, take less baths (just wipe down), drink more water, and avoid eating too much to avoid consuming too much oxygen.

3. It is best to bring an oxygen bottle in case of hypoxia. In addition, pay attention to keeping warm, especially to prevent colds.

4. If severe altitude sickness occurs, do not continue to a higher altitude. You should stay at the original altitude until the symptoms disappear. If the condition worsens, seek medical treatment promptly.

5. In terms of diet, be careful not to overeat, and choose high-carbohydrate and vitamin-rich diets that are easy to digest and absorb. Eating oversaturated and difficult-to-digest food can increase blood circulation in the gastrointestinal tract, increase the burden on the heart, and aggravate hypoxia.
