My three favorite dance movies are The Willows, City of Love, and Dance of My Life 2.
1, "The Willow Winks" is a song and dance movie directed by Jacques Demy and starring Catherine Deneuve, Fran?ois Doret, Jacques Behan, Gene Kelly, and Georges Chaggins, which was released on March 8, 1967 in France. This French color song-and-dance literary film made in the 1960s focuses on the life story of twin sisters. The film uses a lot of outdoor natural light to complement the natural scenery, and the colorful and stylish costumes and fresh and delicate backdrops are a pleasure to watch.
2, "City of Love" is a comedy song and dance film directed by Damien Chazelle and starring Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, John Legend, and others, released on December 16, 2016 in the United States. The movie is about a love story between a jazz pianist and an actress with a dream.In 2017, Lovejoy won Best Picture in the Musical Comedy category at the 74th Golden Globe Awards.
3. Dance My Life 2 is a youthful and inspirational film based on the culture of street dance, and is the second installment of the Dance My Life film series. The movie is directed by Zhu Haowei and stars Brianna Evigan, Robert Hoffman and Cathy Wintura.
The movie tells the story of Andi West's irresistible love for street dance, and her gradual alienation from the "410" team, and then not willing to sink to the bottom of the day, but to form their own dance troupe, and the "410" team to compete in the street dance story.
