Xishan, formerly known as Fuxi Mountain, the birthplace of Chinese civilization, is located in Henan Province, Zhengzhou City, Xinmi City, southwest of the ancient city.
West Mountain is the northeastern remnants of Mt. Songshan, east and west stretches more than 50 kilometers, across Xinmi, Dengfeng, Gongyi, Xingyang 5 counties and cities. It is one of the birthplaces of the Central Plains civilization in China's 5,000-year history, and there are many ancient ruins preserved in China. Then there is Yongzhaoling Mausoleum, the well-preserved imperial tomb of the Northern Song Dynasty. Compared with other imperial tombs, Yongzhaoling Mausoleum is well-preserved because it happens to be located in Gongyi City District. Later, after archaeological preservation, most of the buildings on the ground of the mausoleum were restored and built into Songling Park, which includes the mausoleum and Empress Cao's word sheng hou ling. Although it is a park open to the public, it is very historical in design and can be considered a benchmark work in the field of historical building restoration. In Gongyi, there is also a grotto building, the Grotto Temple, which has its own small and delicate features, although it does not have the grand atmosphere of the Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang. The grottoes here were opened in the Northern Wei Dynasty. On one side of a small mountain wall, there are statues of Buddha carved. The big ones are a few meters high and the small ones are only the size of a hand, but they have different shapes and moods. This road is located between Dengfeng and Gongyi in Henan Province, and is known as the Gongyi-Dengfeng (Gong-Deng) Highway in Henan Province.
