July is not only the hottest season in a year, but also the most vigorous season for lotus flowers. Baiyun Lake Park in my hometown is a tourist ecological zone with lotus as the theme. The Lotus Festival is held in July every year, attracting countless tourists. Today, our family will also go to Baiyun Lake Park to watch and play in this hot summer.
When I arrived at the park, the first thing I saw was a huge stone statue. My father told me that she is a famous lotus fairy, 30 meters high and a representative building of Baiyun Lake Park.
Opposite the Lotus Fairy is the famous Baiyun Lake. Standing on the bridge in the middle of Baiyun Lake, I looked up and saw the lotus leaves on the lake as endless as a large green meadow with reeds in the middle. Looking down carefully, you can see strips of aquatic plants and a few cheerful fish swimming around. They are colorful and beautiful!
Dad said that the lotus in the east of the lake is the most beautiful, so we excitedly walked to the east of the lake. Walking on the forest path leading to Hudong, I saw the trees on the roadside are lush, and there are several flightless birds in the bird nest on the tree waiting for the mother bird to come back! Suddenly, a big lotus appeared in front of my eyes. I saw the lotus leaves stacked on top of each other, and the lotus emerged from the lotus leaves. Some spread out two or three petals, some are in bud, as if they are about to bloom, while others smile and reveal small yellow stamens. When the breeze blows, there will be fragrance; All the lotus flowers dance with the wind, just like a little girl in a pink skirt. It's beautiful.
I love my hometown Baiyun Lake, and I love Baiyun Lake Park in my hometown even more. The beautiful lotus flowers in the park will make me unforgettable!
