Dancing Farewell Verses

Borrowing a Willow for a Farewell:

Poetry. Xiao Ya. Caiwei (采薇)

以前我往矣,杨柳依依。 Now I am thinking of the rain and snow falling.

There is an ancient song in Han Lefu, "The Song of Folding the Willow"

I don't catch the whip on my horse, I fold the willow branch instead, and I play the flute, which makes me sad and kills the travelers.

"Farewell" (folk song of Sui Dynasty)

The willow hangs green on the ground, and the poplar flowers fly in the sky.

The willows are broken and the blossoms fly away, so I ask the pedestrians if they will return.

Wang Zhilu: "Farewell"

The willows are green with the east wind, and the river is green with the royal river.

Lately, it is hard to climb and break them, and it should be more for the parting.

Li Bai: "I heard that Wang Changling had moved to Longbiao from the left, and I have this message from afar"

The poplars have fallen and Zi Gui is crying, and I heard that Longbiao has passed through Wuxi.

I send my worries to the bright moon, and follow you to the west of Yelang.

Wang Wei: "Sending Shen Zifu to Jiangdong"

The travelers on the willow ferry are few and far between, and the kwu shi swings his oar towards Linqi.

Only the thought of love is like the color of spring, and I send you home from the south and the north of the river."

Li Bai: "Farewell to the Jinling Restaurant"

The wind blew the willow blossoms all over the store, and Wu Ji pressed the wine to persuade the guests to taste it.

The children of Jinling came to see us off, and each of them drank his own wine.

Liu Yong: "Rain Lin Bells"

Feelings of parting have always been sad, and it's even more so when it's a cold autumn day.

Where are you awake tonight? The willow bank and the moon in the morning breeze!

Ouyang Xiu: "Long Xiang Si"

Flowers are like yi, willows are like yi, flowers and willows are like yi, the youthful people of the willow are parted, and the head is bowed down with tears hanging down.

East of the Yangtze River, west of the Yangtze River, the mandarin ducks on both sides of the river are flying in two places, and they know how long it will take to meet each other.

Note: The willow, taking the shape of its long and soft branches, expresses the meaning of reluctance to part. So in the past, people used to break the willow to replace the feeling of farewell. That's why there are so many poems that use the willow to say goodbye.

Parting with a glass of wine:

Wang Wei: "Sending Yuan Er to Anxi")

The rain in the morning in the city of Wei is light and dusty, and the color of the willows in the guest house is new.

I advise you to drink a glass of wine, and leave the Yangguan Pass in the west without an old friend.

Wang Changling: Farewell

Dismounting from his horse and drinking his wine, I asked him where he was going.

If you are not satisfied with what you say, you will go back to lie on the southern mountain.

But I will not go back to the white clouds when the sky is over.

Li Bai: "Gift to Qian Zhengjun Shaoyang"

With a cup of white jade and a glass of wine, the green poplar in March.

A few days remain of the spring breeze, and each sideburn becomes silk.

It is not too late to cast the rod.

If we were hunting in the Wei Shui, we could still be the emperor's teacher.

Songs to say goodbye:

Li Bai: "Gift to Wang Lun"

Li Bai was on his way in his boat when he heard the sound of singing on the shore.

The Peach Blossom Pond is a thousand feet deep, not as deep as Wang Lun's love for me.

Li Chip: "Sending Wei Wan to the Capital"

When I heard the traveler singing a song of departure, I crossed the river last night in the frost.

The geese can not be heard in the sadness, and the clouds and mountains are the passages of the guests.

Yuan Zhen (元稹)《重赠乐天》

休遣玲珑唱我诗,我诗多是别君词。

The moon is setting and the tide is leveling, so it is time to go.

Xu Hun, "Farewell to Xieting"

A song of labor is sung to ease the boat's journey, and the water of the red leaves and green mountains flows rapidly.

At sunset, I woke up from the wine and was far away, and the wind and rain were falling from the west tower.

Note: The reason why I didn't write about the dance is that I am not quite sure whether the ancients sang or danced to see each other off at the time of parting. Anyway, the "Song of Departure" is to be sung, but it is not known whether it will be danced with the song ......
