Detective Chinatown Zhang Zifeng (Zhang Zifeng's evil smile is back)

I believe that all the viewers who have watched "Detective Chinatown" in its entirety will never forget one image: the evil smile of Zhang Zifeng's Si Nuo at the end of the movie. This smile is so creepy and back-breaking.

Although after that, Zhang Zifeng also appeared in "our teenage years", "Little Farewell", "Hello, Zhihua" and other well-known film and television drama works, but no matter how their roles have changed, seems to be unable to erase the shadow that she left on viewers in the "Chinatown Detective".

And that shadow actually reappeared in Tangled 3. Only this time, instead of a back-breaking laugh, it's steeply frightening. The perspective also changes from a backward stare to one full of deep meaning.

At the time, Tang Ren (played by Wang Baoqiang) went to the church to look for help from Si Nuo, but unexpectedly was Si Nuo (played by Zhang Zifeng) to recreate the scene in which Qin Feng (played by Liu Haoran) was falsely accused of a push down. Tang Ren panicked to look at Si Nuo, see is another picture of evil and people suddenly afraid of the smile.

In "Downtown Abbey 3," though, the main plot is so clear and flamboyantly funny that you can't see much acting. But in the subplots, the supporting characters either showed deep skills or brought unexpected surprises to the audience.

Katsu Watanabe of the Black Dragon Society, despite not having many lines, and even a few funny ones, shows, within his limited scope, how much he can take on as a guilt-ridden, yet determined, big brother.

Murata Akira, the rapist and murderer, has only a 2-minute scene, but presents the struggles and relief of a desperate man who is about to die with contemptuous provocation and madness.

In order to help Qin Feng (played by Liu Haoran) escape on his way to the courtroom, Ma Boqian, Cheng Xiao, and Chen Zheyuan's appearances echo their predecessors.

In the end credits, Xiao Yang's lifted face, Zhang Junning's shocking glance, and Andy Lau's cold stare are the answers to everyone's previous doubts with surprises, and opens up the scroll of "Tang Dynasty Detective 4". Qiu Ze's appearance also connects the Netflix version of "Chinatown Detective".

In addition to these little treasures from Tangled 3 and the help of well-known Japanese actors such as Satoshi Tsumabuki, Shota Someya, Honomi Suzuki, Tadanobu Asano, and Tomokazu Miura, Japan's national goddess actress Masami Nagasawa also had an outstanding performance.

As the heroine of the film, Masami Nagasawa doesn't have much of a chance to shine in the middle and early stages of the film, but a conversation and monologue during the trial dissects all of the character's years of latent heartache, which is so empathetic that it's heartbreaking to watch.

It is understood that Liu Haoran, one of the male protagonists of "Detective Chinatown 3", is actually a little fan of Masami Nagasawa. This time, he was able to work with the goddess of his heart, and it was a fulfillment of his wish.

In addition to the treatment of the characters, "Tang Dynasty Detective 3" has also put a lot of effort and money into the setting of the scenes and props. Previously, there were reports that the cost of 1.3 billion yuan was a rumor, which was officially denied.

Those who have seen the movie now will realize that even if the movie doesn't cost 1.3 billion dollars, it's still not small.

"Chinatown Mystery 3" continues the scene design style of "Chinatown Mystery 2", and will be a large number of Shinjuku, Shibuya, Akihabara, and other Tokyo cityscape, street scenes through the actual shooting or special effects way to show.

At the same time, in order to fit the performance of these scenes and let the audience feel enough Japanese cultural styles and elements, the movie produced an amazing amount of costumes and props, and invited a large number of crowd actors to star together.

The movie opens with a long shot of a group fight scene with over 400 people. Later, on the streets of Shibuya, Liu Haoran's Qin Feng is forced to undergo the Q test, another big urban scene shot in dispatch. And as Qin Feng and Tang Ren fulfill their mission, each scene they keep switching to is also meticulously designed, with each episode filled with rich setup and execution.

And at the end of the movie, Chen still hasn't forgotten the square dance he's already used before, and has had his share of it, choreographing and designing Shinjuku, Shibuya, Akihabara, and even the bathhouse.

From the casting of the main and supporting characters to the mass of actors, from the scene design to the camera scheduling, from the production of props to costumes and makeup, Chen Sicheng undoubtedly used all the heart, and it is no wonder that he could not afford to set the schedule and jumped many times. If you don't release the movie in the Chinese New Year slot, it's hard to get enough return on the effort and budget you put into it.

A pretty good story, filled the previous 2 part of the pit, and then dug down a new pit, Chen Sicheng's ambition can not be said to be not big, the next thing we need to look forward to is that he will be in the next to bring us what new ideas.

Do you have any thoughts you'd like to share with your fellow viewers about this one?
