However, he meets a schoolgirl, Mashiro (Kyoko Fukada), and realizes that he is gradually falling in love with her, but on the other hand, Mashiro is infected with AIDS due to her part-time job in the sex trade. The plot is touching and quite good.

The Japanese drama "God! Please give me a little more time" was a big hit in Taiwan, and while it is true that many parts of the movie are a little too dreamy, there is no denying that to a certain extent it does reflect the culture of Japanese teenagers, young girls, and even Taiwanese teenagers, who are very much in love with Japan these days. If you think about it, the movie's plot does reflect a lot of issues that we should think about.

In "God", we see that acting rationally is not the same as being free, because the standard of rational calculation is still based on certain social values; and that it is easy to lose oneself by relying too much on the approval of other people in society, and sometimes even sacrificing important things such as justice, affection, and friendship for the sake of acceptance by other people. As a matter of fact, "freedom" is not the same as doing whatever one wants or letting oneself go unchecked. In my opinion, freedom should be the ability to decide what one wants from among the many possible choices without external coercion, which is also known as "autonomy". So what are the values that we should believe in, that will protect us from physical and psychological desires, and that will consistently bring us the greatest happiness and joy?

The hero of the play "God" makes this touching plea: "Why is it that people always realize when it is too late that the clock of life is turned by God .....? Now I see a light, a faint light in the darkness. Keep this light for me, and don't let it go out when people ignore it. Even in exchange for my life. God, please give me more time ....". I believe that such a cry is not only a cry of "God, please give me more time". I believe that such a plea is not only the personal feeling of the hero in the drama "God", but also the feeling that many people have had in their hearts. It is true that the clock of life is turned by God, but if we can grasp all the light that God has given us in our lives, and grasp the richness of life with all our hearts, then I believe that when we come to the end of our lives, not only will we have less unnecessary regrets, but we will also be more thankful for our own lives.
