"Love Story" is the title track of the album of the same name, "Love Story", which was released on October 22, 1994, by Hong Kong actor and singer, Sun Yiu Wai. The lyrics are written by Poon Wai Yuen and arranged by Tang Yi Chung.
Till now, the most popular version of the classic "Love Story" is still the most popular version, both in terms of the song itself and the vocalist's rendition, the first one is Sun Yiu Wai's "Love Story".
Sun's 1994 song, "Love Story," is a Japanese remix of a song originally written by George takahashi, the lead singer of The Tiger Dance Tatsuya in 1993, and is said to have a moving story behind it. The original song won a record award in Japan and was later made into a movie featuring Kyoji Takahashi.
The song has since been adapted and covered by many people, in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
