The basic techniques of poker magic (1)

(1) table show

In the performance of poker magic, it is often necessary to show a deck of cards on the performance table

open, so that the audience at the same time to see all the cards of the card face or back of the card, this method is called the table session card.

www.deh.cn DEH Magic Network, the largest professional magic teaching organization in China

1. Put a deck of playing cards face up on the performance table, the stack of cards should be

tilted slightly to the right (as shown in Figure 1).

2. Gently press your right hand against the stack, pick up the left outer edge of the cards with four fingers,

and wipe it to the right (Figure 2).

3. Under the force of the four fingers of the right hand, the whole deck of cards spreads out from the bottom card to the right in a regular

direction until it takes the shape of a colored ribbon (as in Figs. 3 and 4). At a glance, the deck looks disorganized, and the performer has not arranged the cards in a certain order. But

The pressure and direction of the right hand should be kept even when wiping the cards. If the performing table is too hard and slippery to exhibit

the cards with difficulty, a tablecloth should be placed on the performing table to increase the frictional resistance. At the same

time, wipe the cards appropriately fast, without pausing in the middle, so that the distance between each

card unfolded is basically equal.

(2) Spreading Cards with Both Hands

Spreading a deck of playing cards freely in the two hands of the performer, showing how many

cards there are, and whether there is any abnormality in each of them, for the spectators to check or ask them to select from them. Therefore, most

poker magic can not be done without two-handed card display. The skillfulness of the card displaying action directly shows the skill level of the performer (two-handed card display is also known as card running).

1. Catch the whole deck of cards with your left hand, and prepare to receive the cards with your right hand (as shown in Fig. 1)

2. Push the top card one by one to the right with your left thumb, and then receive them one by one with your right hand.

At the same time, the four fingers help to straighten the received cards

3. Continue the above action of the Viennese cards until the cards on the left and right hands are almost equal,

then push the lower right corner with the thumb to the right a little bit harder, and the whole deck of cards will be unfolded neatly (as in Fig. 5),

and you can ask the spectator to draw a card. When the spectator returns the drawn card to the deck after checking the number of points in the suit,

4. When you need to find a card from a deck of cards, you can also use the two-handed

spreading method, by turning the deck face up and pushing the

found card out with your fingers.

Manipulation teaching

Coin through the back of the hand magic believe that we have seen more, to achieve this purpose method is also more, you can use props, but a props to hundreds, so the following to provide a purely manipulative "COIN THROUGH HAND

", there is an Interested in the picture can be practiced according to the practice, in fact, this is a hidden coin method of application.

Performance phenomenon: the magician first shows that there is nothing in both hands, and then the right hand takes out a coin and holds it with the index and middle fingers, while the left hand makes a fist, signaling that the coin in the right hand is placed on the back of the left hand, and gently rubbing it, and the coin has disappeared, unfolding the left hand, and it turns out that the coin has already penetrated through the palm of the hand to the heart of the left hand ........... Pictures of the performance process

Performance method: In fact, this is an application of the hidden coin method, this method was previously introduced in the magic teaching area in the post, with the right hand index finger and middle finger to hold the coin, and then in the right hand to the left hand back of the hand at the same time the coin is put, bending the right hand index finger and middle finger, the coin will follow the trend of the coin will be clamped in the right hand in the tiger's mouth, and the left hand clenches the fist with a thumb slightly loose, leaving a small hole ... Gently rotate your left hand, release your right hand, and the coin falls into the eye of your left fist... Then, rub the back of the hand again boldly to indicate that the coin has disappeared...

Finally, the left hand is opened and the coin appears in the heart of the left hand.

Poker Flying

Performance Phenomenon:

The magician holds two poker cards in his left hand, and hu the audience flips them back and forth once, indicating that there are only two of them. Then the two poker closed, held up in front of the eyes, blowing on the poker, saying: "poker fly, poker fly". Then the poker pulls apart, at which point the magician has seven pokers in his hand.

The magician collects the poker again, and says, "Poker fly", and there are only two more.

Repeatedly, the performance is very interesting.

Performance techniques:

The magician's hands of the two poker behind a paste paste five diagonal poker (Figure 2). The magician holds the beveled strip edge of the poker upside down as he delivers the poker in his hand. When closed while blowing, secretly turn the poker around. And then pull open, of course, will become seven (actually two and five beveled strips of poker edge), because the audience is farther away, can not see the beveled edge and think it is a flying poker. When it is gathered again, the magician simply turns the poker dark and spreads it out, and the extra poker "flies" away again.

Mathematical card guessing

Demonstration:

The performer hands a deck of cards to the spectator, then turns his back and asks the spectator to follow his instructions.

1. Place 3 piles of cards on the table, with an equal number of cards in each pile, (let's say 15) but don't tell the performer.

2. Take 4 cards from pile 2 and put them in pile 1.

3. Take 8 cards from pile 3 and put them in pile 1.

4. Count how many cards are left in pile 2, (in this case 11 cards), and take the same number of cards from pile 1 as in pile 2 and put them in pile 3.

5. Take 5 cards from pile 2 and place them in pile 1.

The performer turns his face and now says, "Take away the cards from pile 2 and pile 3, so there are still 21 cards in pile 1, right?" The spectator counts, and sure enough, there are still 21 cards.

Secret:

This is a trick designed to use the principle of constant transformation in mathematics. It must be remembered that, one, the number of cards at the beginning of each pile must be equal. Two, the 3rd time the number of cards that are now equal to the number of cards in the 2nd pile are removed from the 1st pile. The math in this case is 4*2+8+5=21

Comments and Suggestions:

This is a trick that relies entirely on the laws of math, and the spectator in this trick should be an "honest" spectator. If he doesn't do exactly what you tell him, your final trick will fail. However, the most confusing thing about this kind of magic is that the spectator is controlling the cards. And it's very interactive. Of course, not all spectators are "honest", so you have to use some "strong card" magic to deal with them.

Changing colors

Performance method:

The performer stacks the cards and spreads them out in a fan shape, so that the audience can see clearly that there are both red and black cards in them, and at the same time, he also explains the reverse side of the cards. The performer draws a few more cards from the stack to show the front and back. Then he gathered the stack of cards, waved them up and down a few times, and when he unfolded them again, they all turned black.

The secret of the magic trick:

1. Take more than 10 red cards and black cards, and use them for the show;

2. Tear off half of the black cards from the center vertically. Tear off half of all the red cards, and stick the torn off half of the cards to each other to become two-color cards;

3. Stack the specially made cards together after spacing them out. During the performance, when the cards are displayed in a fan shape, there are naturally red and black, and after waving the hand, the cards are turned upside down, and when they are unfolded again, all of them become black;

4. It should be remembered that any cards drawn out to the spectators must be unoperated black cards.

Card Recognition in a Bag

Any five cards are taken, with their backs facing upwards, and placed side by side on the table. The performer stands with his back to the table and asks a spectator to recognize a card, counting silently from right to left, the number of the card, and memorize the name of the card. The performer collects the five cards and puts them in his pocket. Then, leaving one card in his pocket, he removes four cards and places them on the table, again with their backs facing upwards. He then asks the spectator which card he recognizes, and when the spectator answers, the performer says, "I left that card in my pocket a long time ago. So he takes it out and puts it on the table, face up, and it is the card the spectator recognizes.

Method:

1. Before the performance, four other cards are placed in the credit.

2. When the performer retrieves the five cards on the table, he must place them in order from right to left. The five cards on the table should be withdrawn in order from right to left (Figure 1).

3. After placing the five cards in the pocket where the four cards were placed, the performer removes the four other cards from the pocket and places them on the table, with the backs of the cards facing upwards (the spectators mistake them for four of the five cards).

4. The performer then counts the number of cards in the bag according to the audience, and pulls out the card and shows it to the audience, which is the audience's recognition of the card.

5. There are still five cards on the table. The bag still has four cards, so you can perform it many times in a row without revealing anything.

Teach some more

1 A sheet of paper and a pencil are placed on the table. The performer walks up to the table and turns his shirt pockets out for the audience to see, proving that there is nothing in the pockets, and then turns the pockets back in. The performer picks up the pencil and writes a number on the paper (without letting the audience see it), writes it, and puts the note in the shirt pocket. The performer says to the audience, "Now think of a number, I predicted the number you said and wrote it on the slip of paper. Okay, now think of a random number and say it." After the audience reported a number, the performer took out the slip of paper from his pocket and showed the audience the number written on it, and it was indeed the number reported by the audience. What was going on here, could the performer really be predicting?

How to do it:

The performer puts a pencil lead about 1 cm long in a corner of the table (because it's small, the audience won't find it), but you can hide the lead somewhere else if you like. When the performer picks up the pencil and writes a number on a piece of paper, pretend to be writing without writing anything at all. "Write" and put the note in your pocket. When the audience finishes the numbers, the performer secretly picks up the pencil lead from the table. He then reaches into his pocket and uses the pencil lead to quickly write the number reported by the spectator on the slip of paper (for ease of writing, the spectator can limit the number reported to between 0 and 9). At this point, the performer pulls out the note for the audience to see (when the audience looks at the note, the performer can throw away the pencil lead), the audience will feel very incredible. This is a wonderful little magic trick!

2. Banknotes into white paper

Preparation: 10 banknotes, 10 pieces of white paper.

Performance: The performer puts a strip of white paper between the 9th and 10th bills beforehand. The performance begins, the performer will 10 banknotes spread into a fan holding in the hand. Then from the fan rows of banknotes drawn out a few front and back for the account, taking the opportunity to move the 10 bills to the bottom, the following is a stack of white paper. Next, the stack of bills, the right fist against the stack of bills, and then unfold the fan. Strange! The original stack of bills has turned into white paper. And then pretend to pull out a few sheets of paper to account for, so that you can account for the paper to cover the bills, it looks as if all the bills have become white paper.

Note: The banknotes and white paper used in the performance should be new and quite

Performance method

1. As shown in the figure, put the first match in the left hand climb as a pulse counter. Position the match so that it is close to the base of your finger, with its head facing you.

2. Hold the second match, the pulse generator, between your right thumb and forefinger, and at the same time press the nail of your middle finger firmly against the back of the match. As shown in Figure 2.

3. If you put a little pressure on the match with the nail of your middle finger, or if you let the match slide very slowly against your nail, the match will produce a series of imperceptible pulses.

4. Place the generator match under the counter match as shown. By rubbing the nail of the middle finger of the right hand playfully against the match in the manner prescribed in step 3, the match in the right hand is bound to cause the match in the left hand to produce a series of fluttering pulses.

.5 Two-Number Coincidence

A sheet of paper and a pencil are placed on a table. The performer walks up to the table and turns his shirt pocket out for the audience to see, proving that there is nothing in the pocket, and then turns the pocket back in. The performer picks up the pencil and writes a number on the paper (without letting the audience see it), writes it, and puts the note in the shirt pocket. 6.

Note: The banknotes and white paper used in the performance should be new and quite

7. Newspaper in water

The performer poured water into a funnel made of rolled up newspaper, which was surprising enough, how could the newspaper hold the water? But he was still serious about folding the newspaper funnel underneath, so as not to let the water flow out; while the audience was waiting to see if the water flowed out from underneath the newspaper. Surprisingly, the performer suddenly threw the newspaper into the air, and unfolded it by pressing down on it, and the drops disappeared, and the newspaper was completely dry. This newspaper is then rolled up again and water is poured from it into a glass. As props, two ordinary, everyday items are needed: a large glass with a handle and a newspaper. An auxiliary prop is also needed - a transparent plastic container 3 to 4 centimeters in diameter and 15 centimeters high with an ear on top. During the performance, the glass is placed on the table and the plastic container is hung from the back of the glass (from the audience's point of view). Now roll the newspaper into a funnel shape, the right hand picks up the cup, the left hand holding the funnel-shaped newspaper behind the glass from the bottom up, the plastic container behind the cup is then hung in the newspaper. (The water in the glass can then be poured into the plastic container located in the funnel-shaped newspaper, taking care not to let the water wet the newspaper). When the water is almost poured, the hand holding the newspaper is lifted from the bottom up, so that the glass will hang the transparent plastic container away, and then put down the glass. To enhance the performance, the performer deliberately holds the newspaper very carefully, so as not to let the water shake out, but then suddenly he throws the newspaper in the air, or simply into the audience. Then he re-rolls the newspaper into a funnel shape and pours the water out of the newspaper back into the glass - first placing the plastic container hanging from the glass into the funnel-shaped newspaper, then pouring the water from the plastic container into the forest, and in the same way hanging the empty plastic container away, putting the glass back in place, and then unfolding the newspaper to the audience .

8. The beating match

When you meet a group of friends by chance, you can tell them that you have just discovered a wonderful way to detect the pulse. So you take two ordinary wooden matches out of your shirt pocket and place one in the palm of your left hand, explaining that you can use it as a pulse counter. Then, you place the second match under the first, so that it can be used as a pulse generator throughout the demonstration. As your friends watch the counter carefully, they will naturally notice that it is bouncing up and down in a certain rhythm, as if it were keeping track of the number of times your heart is beating. Suddenly, your heartbeat loses its normal pattern and finally, in an almost ghostly motion, stops. Next, you hand the matches to your friends, ask them to examine them carefully, and then ask them to try their hand at it. Obviously, despite all their efforts and their determination to "show off" as you have done, the result is to watch the two matches lying quietly in the palm of their hands, "sleeping". When performing this program, it is better to use large wooden matches. Because of the low standard of props, you can borrow such matches anytime and anywhere. In fact, the real secret of the show lies in the hidden mechanism of the match - the pulse generator.

How to do it

1. Place the first match in your left hand as shown in the picture as a pulse counter. Adjust the position of the match so that it is close to the base of your finger, with its head facing you.

By rubbing the nail of the middle finger of the right hand playfully against the match in the manner prescribed in step 3, the match in the right hand will cause the match in the left hand to produce a series of fluttering pulses.

You see all over what good magic is not props ah, even if there is that is not very good magic, which has a few as long as some of the very simple props (such as the bag of cards, bills into white paper, mathematical card guessing, etc.), want to make people surprised you do it yourself ~~~~ Thank you for your cooperation!

Simple poker magic for novices

Find a card with better toughness and let the audience shuffle it randomly, then use double left (pick up two cards to make it look like one)

Let the audience remember the card (e.g., an ace), then bend the card into the shape of a bridge and place it on the top of the card, then put the first (e.g., a 2) and insert it into the card

Between the audience mistakenly think that the curved card has been inserted (as long as it is not pressed too hard, he will think that the card is a bridge.). (He can lift the top card up if you don't press it too hard.) Of course, this

is done by squeezing the ace with the finger you're used to, so that the audience doesn't see that it's curved, and then you can do whatever you want, whether it's sprinkling magic powder or reciting a spell

and then releasing the ace from the finger, so that it looks as if the curved card is floating up on its own, with a little bit of pressure on the deuce. In the history of magic, the man who is known as the Professor of Close-ups, is. Dan Vernon. Dan Vernon, who was known as the Professor of Close-Up Magic, used this trick a lot, and it worked really well

Testing a girl's destiny

The magician and the girl each take a deck of cards and shuffle the cards a few times. To prove that there is no secret to the shuffling, the magician and the girl switch the cards in their hands. The magician asks the girl to imagine and guess in her mind what cards the magician prefers. Which one she is going to choose, and then, decide what favorite card she will choose. After a while, both of them each pick a card from the stack and place it on top of the stack and shuffle the cards around. At this point, the magician and the girl switch their stacks back. The magician and the girl then switch their stacks back and place the card they have just chosen from the stack on the performance table. Then, both of them turn over their chosen cards at the same time to show the public, and everyone sees that both of their cards are the 10 of hearts.

This program does not require special preparation, and can be performed anytime, anywhere. It is best to use two decks of cards with backs of different colors, so let's assume for now that one deck has a red back and the other a blue back.

Method:After shuffling the deck, look at your bottom card and memorize it, because it is the key card. Let's say you see the 8 of diamonds, so the girl doesn't find out.

Then swap cards, and then your card is hers and hers is yours. Ask her to open her hand as you did, and pick any "favorite card" from it, without letting the other person see it. When the spectator yells stop, the magician places the Ace of Spades at the top of the dealt pile, and then neatly closes the dealt pile by placing the bottom of the cards in his hand. Organize the cards. The cards are dealt again, the spectator shouts again to stop, and the magician places the Ace of Clubs at the top of the dealt pile and neatly closes the pile again. Place the lower end of the closed card in the hand. The magician places the cards on the table, and as soon as the cards are unfolded, he takes out the Ace of Spades and the top card of the Ace of Spades, and places them on one side of the table. Then he takes out the Ace of Clubs and the top card of the Ace of Clubs. The two cards are opened and surprisingly four aces are laid out on the table. Surprise the audience. Solve the mystery: Just put an Ace of Hearts at the top of the deck and the Ace of Diamonds at the bottom of the deck before the magic trick. Just follow the steps above.

The Four K's Get Together

Preparation: First, pick the four "K's" out of a deck of cards, then pick two other cards and insert them behind the second "K." (Note: Six cards must be placed behind the second "K"). (Note: the six cards must be neatly organized so that the audience cannot find two other cards among the four "K's")

Magic steps:

1) Open the stack of "K's" in a fan shape and show it to the audience (hide the two miscellaneous cards behind the third "K"). (hiding the two stray cards behind the third king), then gather the four cards (actually six) and place them face down on top of the deck.

2) Tell the audience that the four "kings" are very good friends and that they will not be separated.

3) Place the top card "K" at the bottom of the deck so you can show it to the audience.

4) Insert the next top card (not the "K") into the center.

5) Repeat step four.

6) Now leave the fourth card on top. You can turn it over to show the audience that it is a "K".

7) While cutting the card from the center and placing the bottom half on top, you can explain to the spectator: "The four kings are very good friends, so even if they are separated, they will soon come back together".

8) Open the deck in a fan shape to show the audience that the four kings have magically come together.

Pure technique of recognizing cards

Use an ordinary deck of poker, let the audience randomly shuffle, and let him choose one of the cards, and hand it over to the magician's hand, at this time, the magician's right hand with the thumb at the bottom, and the rest of the 4 fingers at the top, let the cards stand upright and turn their backs on themselves, and pay attention to the position of the hand should be lower than their own chests, and the fingers exert themselves so that the cards are arched inward, and then you can just see the number of points in the corners of the cards and the suits. The attention is to move naturally and quickly, the cards should not be bent too aggressively, as long as the position of the cards is low, just to see the points on the line, this method should be performed well only. Thanks, top one!

Seeking Poker

Seeking Poker

Performance:

(1) The performer takes a deck of playing cards and unfolds them to account for the face and back of the cards, indicating that there is no secret.

(2) The cards are shuffled a few times, and an audience member is invited to come up to the stage, where he shuffles the cards a few more times. The performer extends both hands, palms up, and asks the audience to divide the cards into two piles, with the backs of the cards facing upwards, and place them on top of the performer's left and right palms respectively.

(3) The performer says to the spectators on the stage: "Choose one of the two piles of cards, take this pile and look at it to remember the top card, what point and suit it is, and show it to the spectators offstage as well, without letting the performer know. Then put the card that has been looked at back on the top of the pile."

(4) The performer stacks another pile of cards on top of the pile chosen by the spectator, piles him up and says, "Where in the full deck is the one card you've seen, do you know?" The spectator says, "I don't know." The performer says, "You can tell where it is if you do it my way."

(5) The spectator is then asked to face downstage and move the cards behind him. The first step is to move the top card underneath the deck. In the second step, the now top card is then turned over so that it is face up and inserted arbitrarily into the center of the full deck. After these two steps are done, bring the full deck to your body.

(6) The performer says: "You unfold the cards, with their backs facing upwards, and find the card you have just turned face up, and the one below it, the one you see and remember." The spectator does so, and indeed it is the card he sees and remembers, and gives it to the spectators offstage to inspect.

(7) Why is it that a card turned over by the spectator is inserted behind him exactly on top of the card seen and remembered? It is truly mysterious.

/shishang/paiji/ There are many!

1:4 Aces running up and down

Effect: Take the 4 aces out and show them to the audience. Then put them at the top. Start to separate the 4 A's on the table. Then take one and put it underneath. Make a hand sound. the aces run up. Take another one and put it on top. Hit the hand, the aces go down. Take another one, put it underneath, make a hand noise, and it's on top! Take another one and put it in the center. Hit your hand.

Practice: When you take 4 Aces and show them to the audience, put one more empty card under the Ace. Then look at the table to put the first card is the last inserted into the center of the card! The other follow to do to the effect of the above!

2: Fable Magic

Effect: Take a piece of paper and write two cards on it. For example: red 2 black 2. but do not show the audience. Insert the paper in the center of the cards. Then turn it over to the spectator. The paper is stuck between the red 2 and the black 2!

Practice: the paper is written with the top and bottom cards. After inserting it. Turn it over to the spectator holding the top part of the paper back to back in your right hand. The left hand that the bottom part of the pressure on the paper. It can give the audience an illusion!

3: Three-Card Fable

Effect: Shuffle the cards. Give the cards to the spectator. Have the spectator divide a tableau of cards into three random portions on the table. The magician can tell what card is on the top of the three copies!

Practice: First you must know the top card. You can't shuffle the top one in when you shuffle it! After dividing it into 3 parts. The first part of the top is the card you memorized. The top of the second is the card from the top of the first. The top card of the third is the card from the top of the second. Then the card at the top of the three copies is fable to!

4: 4A on top

Effect: Divide the cards into 4 copies. Pick up the first copy. Take three cards from the top of the first copy to the bottom of the first copy. Then take another card from the top of the first copy to each of the other three copies. Put down the first card. Take its second card. Do the same thing with the first card. Take the third copy. Do the same with the fourth card! The 4 aces will be on top of each card!

How to do it: At the beginning of the trick, the 4 aces are on top of the cards. Then put them as above and they will naturally be on top!

5: 3 K's of Unity

Effect: Take 3 K's out. Give it to the audience. Then the magician himself puts a miscellaneous card on the table. Have the spectator put a K on the miscellaneous card. magician puts another one. The spectator puts another one. The magician puts another one. The spectator places a third card! Place the cards on the table on top of the cards in the left hand. Shout of unity. Open the top 3. 3 Kings are together again!

How to do it: beforehand, place the 4th King under the 2nd card of the total number of cards. That's where the 3rd card is! Just do as above!

A very interesting card magic, the reason is very simple, as long as your performance ability is in place, a hundred changes, then cut the crap and start teaching.

First of all, we take a deck of cards to open the time, secretly back a card. Method: novice can use four fingers to push the card in front of the thumb to fix the first poker. Push from left to right!

This time the first card the spectator sees actually becomes the 2nd.

We tell the spectator to memorize a random card inside the first 12, remembering the suit and the position of the card, let's say it's the 4th card.

Then we close the cards, being careful not to show the spectator that we have memorized a card.

After we close the deck, the 4th card the spectator sees becomes the 5th, and when we count to 4, it's actually the 3rd card the spectator sees, so we insert him into the middle of the deck, and the 4th card the spectator sees is now on the first card of the deck.

There are actually 2 ways to perform this, you can give the audience that you blow a breath and the card becomes the first one believe it or not. Oh this is one

The second is that you ask the audience, what month is your birthday? The card can then appear in the first few, let's say 3. Tell the spectator to hold the whole deck and think about the card they just saw. You put the cards one by one on the table, the spectator will see the card on the first card, the third card is not the spectator to see, so the spectator will laugh at you, but it does not matter immediately, you will have a good look, you give him an explanation, may be you did not concentrate on just now to think, you think once again. You put the three cards you counted down to the top of the deck, and the first card becomes the third. Tell the spectator to hold the card and think again about the card he just saw, and then count 1 2 3 again is what the spectator sees.

[share]Change coins with an empty hand!

Stretch out your right hand, palm toward the spectator, then use your thumb to flick your index, ring and middle fingers respectively, and when you flick your middle finger you suddenly have an extra coin in your hand! Do you know how to do that? It's a sleight-of-hand magic trick!

It's very simple, use the thumb root to hide the coin or the tiger's mouth to hide the coin in the root of the thumb, when facing the audience, the thumb is right in front of the audience's line of sight, and when you flick the middle finger, the index finger and the middle finger together to pull the coin out. But you need to practice, otherwise the audience will be able to see it:)
