Someone suggested that everyone should give her enthusiastic support and that the whole class should stand up and cheer for her. He was so confident that out of the fifty-two classmates, only Wang Duanduan stood up. Until now, she still has a very serious and straightforward character.
In 1997, Wang Duanduan took the host examination of Shenyang TV station at the age of nineteen. At that time, he had no experience on camera. The theme of the program he chose was "On the phenomenon of female college students working as escorts today." At that time, Wang Duanduan won the recognition of the judges with her courage and enthusiasm alone, and successfully passed the exam to serve as the host of Shenyang TV's "Knowledge and Life" and "Computer Age" columns.
In 1999, Wang Duanduan participated in Liaoning TV's "Dole Female New Host Competition" and won the Northeast region championship and the top eight in the country. In 2000, Wang Duanduan graduated from university and was assigned to Liaoning TV Station as the host of the "Lucky 50" and "First Time" columns. At that time, she was the youngest program host on the station.
In the second half of 2000, Wang Duanduan participated in the CCTV "Royalstar" Cup TV Host Competition. After passing five levels and defeating six players, Wang Duanduan entered the finals. But she ended up finishing 19th in the competition.
