What's interesting about Luoyang Yiyang?

1. Huaguoshan

Guo Hua, also known as Daughter Mountain, is located in Muce Township, southwest of Yiyang County, 50 kilometers away from Yiyang County and 90 kilometers away from Luoyang, the ancient capital of the Nine Dynasties. It is the creative prototype of The Journey to the West's Zhong Zhong Guo Shan, Wu Cheng'en. The total area is 180 km2, the elevation of the main peak is1831.8m, and the forest coverage rate is 77.4%. Since 199 1, it has become a national forest park. In 2000, it was rated as one of the top ten scenic spots in Luoyang, and in 20001,it was rated as a 3a scenic spot.

2. Kowloon Cave

Jiulong Cave is located on the hillside of Banpo Mountain in the southwest of Yiyang County, 7 kilometers northwest of Baiyang Town and 12 kilometers southeast of the county. This is a natural limestone cave. It is said that the nine children of the Dragon Mother's twins are all here. Up to now, there are large temple fairs among the people on the third day of the third lunar month. Thousands of good men and women come here for pilgrimage, hoping to pray for good weather, happiness and peace from the Notre Dame of Kowloon. The cave runs from east to west, with a depth of about 500 meters. There is a stone bridge and a statue of the Virgin of Kowloon. The cave is damp and secluded, winding and rugged, with fantastic scenery, which is a natural place for good tourists to explore and win.

3. Fuchang cupboard

Fuchang Pavilion is located in Fuchang Village, 30 kilometers west of the county seat. According to the old county records, Fuchang Palace was built in the Sui Dynasty. The existing buildings began in the Ming Dynasty and were completely renovated in the 24th year of Jiaqing (18 19). In recent years, it has been completely renovated. Fuchang Pavilion was built on the cliff head in the southwest of Fuchang City in the old days. The tower is hung with eaves, covered with yellow-green sulfur glass bricks, with bells hanging at four corners, colorful doors, blue bricks on the walls and bluestone on the foundation. There are 120 steps in front of the stage, which is magnificent. In the pavilion, there is a golden body of the founder. There are caves such as Lv Zu, Huatuo, Laojun, Luban, Wang Yao and Xifo on the cliffs on the east and west sides of the pavilion. The brick platform in front of the cave is hidden among the willows. On the first and fifteenth day of every year, cigarettes are around and chanting is constant, which adds a miraculous color to Fuchang Pavilion. ?

4. Hutou Temple Grottoes

Located in the east of Yiyang County 12.5km at the foot of Hutou Mountain in Miao Village, it is named after the cliff looks like a tiger's head. The temple was named Hutou Temple after the mountain, and the grottoes were named after the temple. There are nearly a thousand Buddha statues in the grottoes, so it is also called the Thousand Buddha Temple. The earliest excavation of the grotto statue was in the Southern and Northern Dynasties, when Emperor Xiaoming of the Northern Wei Dynasty was Zheng Guangyuan (AD 520). Now it is a key cultural relics protection unit in Henan Province.

5. Wuhua Temple Tower

Located in the north of Sanxiang Village, beside the Lianchang River, at the foot of Hanshan Mountain, on the site of Lianchang Palace. The existing building of Wuhua Temple no longer exists, only this tower is left. The actual construction date of the tower is unknown. It was originally recorded as the Tang Tower, but it was identified as a relic of the Song Dynasty and a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit by relevant personnel. ?

6. Sihe Reservoir

Sihe Reservoir is located in the south of Zhaobao Township, 7 kilometers away from Yiyang County/KLOC-0. It is the only medium-sized reservoir in Yiyang and a scenic tourist area with water features as its main feature. Sihe Reservoir was built in 1960, covering an area of more than 800 mu. The dam is185m long, 275m wide at the bottom, 5.5m wide at the top and 38.3m high, with a maximum storage capacity of 7.43m cubic meters. From bottom to top, there are two rows of steps leading to the dam top, and there are highways leading to the dam top at the dam end. At the east end, there is a beautifully shaped two-story attic. Outside the dam, there is an antique pavilion and a library monument. Yiyang-Dongwangzhuang Highway and Nanyan National Defense Highway pass through here, and tourist vehicles can go directly to the top of the reservoir dam.
