Wengding Village, a natural village under the jurisdiction of Mengjiao Dai and Yi Lahu Township of Canyuan Wa Autonomous County in Lincang City, Yunnan Province, and a traditional village in China, is situated in the Menghuo Dai and Yi Lahu Township, with a village area of about 1.2 million square meters. Lahu Township, with a village area of 6.3 square kilometers.
Wengding Village is one of the most well-preserved original Wa villages in China, with a long history and culture, artistic aesthetics, scientific research, village pattern and architectural value, and is a perfect presentation of the magnificent Wa Sigangli epic. Wengding, which means cloudy place in Wa language, also means the spirit of high mountain Baiyun Lake. The most mysterious attraction of Ondine is perhaps the heart of the village where anyone has to wash his/her ears - the village stake, the heart of the village, Sigangli.

1. Wa Ba Ba: Ba Ba is called "Bu Le (nblāeh)". Practice: Soak the glutinous rice in cold water the first night, steam it in a wooden steamer early the next morning, fish it out with a bamboo rice spoon and put it in a pounding pestle, put the pre-pounded suzuki or sesame seeds on the pounding pestle and the pounding rod, pound it vigorously, turn it over while pounding until it is pounded fine, fish it out and put it on the dustpan to sprinkle an appropriate amount of suzuki noodles, knead it into long strips and then twist it by hand to form a ball as big as the mouth of a small bowl, then press it flat by hand to make it into a round shape by trimming the edges and wrapping it up in a banana leaf, and then take it out the next day. The dough is then wrapped in a banana leaf and baked by a fire on the next day.
2. Warming up the meat on the fire: When the Wa kill cattle or hunt suede or deer, in addition to eating fresh meat at that time, they usually leave some meat hanging on the fire to make dry bar. When you eat it, warm it up in the fire ash, take it out when you smell the fragrance, pound the peppercorns, chili peppers, salt, ginger, and monosodium glutamate in the pounding pestle, and then put a few betel leaves picked from the mountains into the pounding pestle and pound them together with the dried meat warmed up in the fire ash and torn up in small pieces, and then it is ready to be eaten.

The village has a unified architectural style, with all-wooden thatched roof houses, which are divided into two types, namely, dry-fence and floor-standing, with the floor-standing houses, dry-fence houses, and attached buildings, such as granary houses, wooden drum houses, sala houses, Meiji sacrificial houses, and fortress gates, constituting a complete housing architecture system of the Wa ethnic group. With strong characteristics and profound ethnic culture, it is worth visiting.
Inside the village, there are Zhaixin, which is a place for holding rituals and festivals; Bull's Head Piles, which are concentrated on both sides of the road in front of the gate of the village and in the Folklore Square; and Goddess Tengtu Pillar, which stands at the southwest of the Folklore Square, and whose shape looks like the goddess standing on both sides of a pole, and which is shaped like the goddess standing on both hands, and which is shaped like the goddess standing on the top of the pole. Goddess Tengtu Pillar is located on the southwest side of the Folk Square, which is shaped like a goddess standing with both hands raised, with different dots on the top of the pillar in the shape of a cow's horn, indicating the stars in the sky and DuoYi flowers, the inverted triangular pattern in the middle indicating the necklace, the vertical stripe indicating the clothes, the horizontal stripe indicating the waistband, and the combination of inverted triangular patterns indicating the skirt pattern, which is the totem symbol for the original sacrificial worship of the Wa forefathers.
