In fact, in today's society, because the medical level is not comparable to that in ancient times, "funeral" is not uncommon. In some rural areas, if the old man dies, the villagers will use "funeral" to comfort his family. That is to say, the old man has actually enjoyed the blessings of the world at this age. He left without pain and peace, not a funeral, but a "funeral".
Therefore, it can be seen from here that not all funerals can be called "funerals". First, to meet the requirements of age, they are all old people who enjoy happiness at birth. Finally, natural death, which is what we call natural death, dies young and grows old. Only in this way can it be regarded as a "funeral". In other words, the deceased must be happy and live a long life, that is, all happiness, all life, all end, and life is complete. Although some seemingly "festive" ceremonies will make people unaccustomed to "weddings, funerals and weddings", this so-called "festive" hides the sadness of family members and the respect and mourning for the deceased.
The saying "weddings, funerals and happy events" originated in Zhuangzi. According to records, Zhuangzi's wife died at that time, and Keiko came to offer her condolences, only to find Zhuangzi knocking on the tile and singing. I asked him angrily, aren't you sad that your wife died, and are you still singing and having fun here? Zhuangzi said that human birth, aging, illness and death are the cycle of life, the cycle of heaven, and the replacement of the four seasons. And people died, safe and sound, sleeping between heaven and earth. This is God's arrangement, and we shouldn't cry for them.
