Hu Songhua's Artistic Course

Hu Songhua, 193 1 was born in Beiping, Manchu. Hu Songhua's father, Mr Dongshan, is a Chinese medicine practitioner who loves painting and calligraphy. Sometimes he can drive away half the patients because he painted an unfinished painting. This obsession with painting and calligraphy invisibly allowed him to define such life coordinates for his children: children should also become painters when they grow up. His younger brother Hu Baoshan is a famous baritone singer. Sister-in-law Wang Yiman is a dramatist of Beijing Air Force Art Troupe. My nephew, Hu Jun, is a famous actor in Chinese mainland. In calligraphy, the father who inherited the style of Yan and Liu had a great influence on him, so he started with "painting red" and gradually attached Yan and Liu poems. In painting, when Hu Songhua was six or seven years old, his eager father hired two painters with different styles from China and the West. China painter is a landscape painter, a flower-and-bird painter, and Mr. Zhao Mengzhu with good character. Western painter and English teacher are Mr. Yu Yuan, the adoptive father. Under the guidance of two teachers, Hu Songhua has laid a solid foundation for painting and calligraphy through the dual practice of Chinese and Western painting skills. His paintings and calligraphy works from primary school (Beijing Xiangbaitu Hutong Primary School) to middle school (Beijing No.5 Middle School) participated in exhibitions and competitions at that time and won many awards. It is because of his outstanding achievements in calligraphy and painting that he graduated from north university of china (1949). (In fact, it should be said that he had already performed Yangko Opera and several plays with the objective needs as early as when he was in the Cultural and Art Troupe of Zhengding Branch of Huada University).

If it goes on like this, Hu Songhua can only become an out-and-out painter. However, fate took a big turn at 1950. This year, Hu Songhua was elected to the central delegation and began to investigate and edit the literature and art of the border ethnic minorities. The research results so far show that the choice of this piece of music played an important role in Hu Songhua's life.

In the process of literary research and editing in minority areas, Hu Songhua gradually came into contact with and became familiar with frontier music, songs and dances, and developed a strong interest. Because of the need of work, he often sings and dances live performances with great interest. His talent and understanding of music soon attracted the attention of the same group of professionals, and Hu Songhua also humbly learned from them how to practice vocal music. Therefore, in fact, his first teacher should be Guo Shuzhen. In the past two years, under the guidance of Guo (1950- 1952), he began to really approach and enter the magical art field of vocal music, and gradually formed his own independent artistic consciousness of vocal music, which can be used consciously or unconsciously in ordinary singing. 1952, Guo's disorderly study was interrupted because he studied in the Soviet Union. However, at this time, he gradually fell in love with Bel Canto and clearly saw his own shortcomings. In order to learn "real kungfu", Hu Songhua not only arranged for the economic and trade delegation in Beijing to study under Lou Gangui and Professor Yang Bide, but also went to Shanghai Vocal Music Institute to study under Dr. Lin Junqing, majoring in Italian Bel Canto singing techniques. In addition, he also listened to the voices of the wise and all aspects in the Shanghai Conservatory of Music where vocal experts gathered.

In addition to formally learning the techniques of Italian Bel Canto, many years of frontier life also made Hu Songhua deeply realize that the traditions and national singing methods of all ethnic groups in China are rich nutrition that can't be bought. This understanding made Hu Songhua learn the traditional singing art "Hai Lai Qiang" from Yi singer lady white snake. Learn the "Nohula" system technique and singing art of classical long-tune pastoral songs from Mongolian traditional singer and grassland long-tune song king Hazab. I learned all the skills of the Hui nationality "Hua 'er" with Zhu Zhonglu, the "King of Hua 'er". He has successively studied the classical Muqam singing art and national song and dance singing of Uygur singers Amunisha and Yulawash Khan. I learned the "truth" skills of traditional Tibetan opera from Tashi Dhondup, the king of Tibetan opera. Studied the Tibetan folk songs of Sunanima system; Others also learned the Miao nationality's "flying song"; The Salar "Rai" ... all these make Hu Songhua creatively use this skill in international Bel Canto singing.

In the middle and late 1950s, while going deep into the colorful and boiling life in the frontier, Hu Songhua gradually developed an urgent desire to breathe the essence of international vocal music methods, and put his ideas into practice with many overseas performances. He had extensive, concrete and fruitful exchanges with more than a dozen national artists and singers from China art groups, including the Royal Swedish Opera House, the Romanian Opera House, the Grand Theatre of the former Soviet Union, Bulgaria, Albania, Hungary and Yugoslavia. This kind of communication is undoubtedly forward-looking and strategic, because in the communication, Hu Songhua keenly captured the international law of Bel Canto, which laid a solid foundation for his original creation of his own Bel Canto techniques based on the multi-ethnic life and aesthetics in China.

In fact, this division of Hu Songhua's learning process is very rough. Because Hu Songhua has been studying for more than 50 years, his pursuit of vocal music is endless, not to mention that he has always had selfless exchanges and discussions with his younger brother Hu Baoshan, who is studying in Bulgaria. He is over 50 years old, and he is also pious when listening to the face-to-face teaching skills of Zhou Xiaoyan and others. Even Hu Songhua's original vocal music theory has made bold breakthroughs. Reconstruction, on the basis of the latest and best vocal music practice, constantly improve and perfect their own theory. Let the vocal music art develop in a higher, deeper, more refined, more detailed, more exploratory and wider direction.

"When the sword is sharpened, the fragrance of plum blossoms comes from bitter cold". After hard study, Hu Songhua finally got a golden autumn. His singing skills are rich and mellow, bold and affectionate, and he often sings new songs. His theory is advanced and vivid, and the artistic conception and tolerance of his books, paintings, poems and essays will stand at a historic height in the forest of Kyushu culture. Newton said, "I see far, because I stand on the shoulders of giants." Indeed, the accumulation of human culture makes the wheel of human history roll faster and stronger. Hu Songhua and his achievements are also worldwide and belong to all mankind.

● Brilliant achievements today, full of spring.

Hu Songhua's magnificent and wonderful singing conquered all the critical listeners. 1963 recorded all the aria for Ahei, the hero of China's first musical feature film Ashima. Participated in the lyrics, arrangement and singing of 1964 music and dance epic Ode to the East, and participated in Mao Zedong's special concert solo in the Great Hall of the People in the same spring; 1965 was invited to participate in the performance of the large-scale opera "Ayiguli" and successfully played the leading actor A Shar (Group A); 1979 recorded and sang many songs for the large-scale historical drama Wang Zhaojun; 1980 held a solo dance evening in Hu Songhua and Zhang Manru, which was the first to shake Tianjin, Beijing and the whole country, and was well received by more than 20 newspapers in Hong Kong and Macao. 198 1 year, CCTV recorded the special program "Sing Together" and later "Sing for the Motherland". He wrote and adapted more than 100 songs, such as Praise, Senjidema, Harvest Song, Tajik Sheep Pasturing Song, Grassland New Song, Song of Love for Two Generations (People's Daily) and so on. After 1987, Hu Songhua wrote a batch of new works. For example, Wishing on horseback (a new song recommended by China Central Broadcasting Station 1990), Nurhachi's Horse (a special song of CCTV's rotating stage), Singing Wine Songs (a song of CCTV's Spring Festival Evening 1987), Falcon, Blessing the Hometown, Wan Li and so on. Nearly a hundred songs, such as Banna's love, return to Wa Mountain and so on. He sang them first and often. Other songs include The Sun Rises on the Grassland, Horses Run, Going Up the Mountain to See Pingchuan, Che La, Man Jiang Hong, Three Cars (Russia) and Santa Claus, which I composed. It is particularly worth mentioning that since the 1990s, Hu Songhua, who passed 1992, has launched another "self-challenge" in order to thank the elders of all ethnic groups for their nurturing love in the coming years and to promote the multi-ethnic music culture. He raised funds by himself, organized his own film crew, and filmed many episodes of multi-ethnic music and television art with the artistic conception of walking, singing and thanking. To this end, he re-recorded more than 100 national excellent songs in advance, 85% of which were his hard work for many years, which shocked the music circles in China and the world. In the feat and pioneering work "Long Song, Love in Wan Li", those songs with ups and downs, alternating speed and speed, combining rigidity with softness, contrasting light and shade, and complementing strength and weakness explained Hu Songhua's emotional world. "Music without borders", those songs with different styles but intoxicating, also support the whole human soul with their great meaning and appeal. Hu Songhua presented the best music works of all ethnic groups to the world, and the music and melody composed of beauty and goodness created a spiritual Parthenon for us.

At the same time, the restoring force, expressive force and creativity of Hu Songhua's painting and calligraphy art, which preceded singing, are increasingly full. The healthy and confident humanistic spirit in his paintings also shows his mature artistic mentality. Hu Songhua's favorite paintings are eagles, horses, pines and stones. Many paintings and calligraphy works were published in People's Daily, Sports Daily, China Youth Daily, People's Political Consultative Conference, Sichuan Daily, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily, Beijing Evening News, Hong Kong Wen Wei Po, Singapore Lianhe Zaobao and other newspapers, and participated in 65438. He was also invited to write poems for the Millennium Law Society of Qingtian Temple in Japan, for Lianhe Zaobao in Singapore, for Zhang Zhongjing, a doctor in Henan, and for Hanyuan Forest in Henan. Hu Songhua always thought that "painting and calligraphy are tangible songs, and singing is vocal painting and calligraphy". This dialectical way of thinking has made him achieve many achievements in the art of two sisters. He also boldly applied this way of thinking to vocal music. He extensively studied the methods of ancient and modern China and foreign countries, learned from others, and was diligent in exploration. He effectively combined the skills of China's international communication laws with those of China's multi-ethnic special laws in the field of vocal music, and bravely opened up a new path. In the end, a new singing method with rich multi-ethnic style, scientific vocal skills and distinctive flavor of the times was created, and a unique stunt with high difficulty, beautiful voice and deep feelings was established.

Brilliant achievements today, all colors are spring. Today, Hu Songhua won fame both before and after his death. Singer, songwriter, painter, calligrapher and painter, member of the 4th-9th Cross-century China People's Political Consultative Conference, and member of the 3rd-5th all-china youth federation Standing Committee. Perhaps people of all ethnic groups in China call Hu Songhua "our own singer", which is the best, most beautiful, truest, kindest and greatest praise for him.

"A brave man is Beowulf; People with plans are obedient; The brave and resourceful are teachers. " Hu Songhua is a worthy teacher. He chose the magnificent frontier and the magnificent peaks, because there he could lift his feelings, stretch his mind, dissolve in the people, listen to the sounds of nature and feel the voices of the people. His understanding and cleverness finally enabled him to write and sing the beautiful multi-ethnic voices of China. Every seemingly casual note exudes eternal and infinite charm that impacts the human spirit.

1999 is the 50th anniversary of the founding of New China and Hu Songhua's artistic career. In this year, in CCTV, Jinghua Concert Hall and other grand National Day special programs, Hu Songhua expressed his feelings for the motherland with songs that were better than those of that year, and at the same time presented a six-hour exquisite VCD series CD "Love in Wan Li, Long song" with deep affection, and then released a dual-function MTV OK single record of "Millennium Edition of Hu Songhua Boutique Songs". At the end of the century, Hu Songhua presented an exquisite artistic feast for the new century, the motherland and the people of the world.

After 50 years of hard work and hardship, the blue light has been exposed. Especially in the 1990s, the energy devoted by Hu Songhua and his wife to the love in Wan Li Long song made the two old people extremely exhausted. Their daughter sincerely arranged a rehabilitation center for her parents in Zhuhai, a romantic city with fresh air. However, Hu Songhua, who is nearly ancient and rare, is not willing to rest, because half a century of frontier art career has made him deeply realize:

It is dozens of nationalities that have nurtured his growth, even taking the milk of life and art to the world. However, in the frontier hot land, some children with national ambitions and gas fields can't get out because of poverty, which often makes him anxious and feel powerless. Thanks to the right time, the right place and the right people, Hu Songhua got to know the "Chivalrous Man" (a sincere bosom friend entrepreneur who has been in Hu Songhua for many years) at the turn of the century, and supported Hu Songhua to set up the "Hu Songhua Art Research Office" without seeking fame and fortune. Therefore, Hu Songhua can return to Wan Li Road, give lectures on a voluntary basis, and select seed students from it. In the first batch, he trained ten students from eight ethnic groups (Tibetan, Mongolian, Yi, Wa, Naxi, Yao, Hui and Mosuo) and took them back to Zhuhai for a series of free training. In three years, Hu Songhua will use the most advanced theories and skills to train them to be singers beyond themselves.

This is Hu Songhua, an artist who has an indissoluble bond with national vocal music. His growth, success and efforts for the national vocal music in his later years are deeply branded with the "national" mark. It is out of love for the motherland, the people and the art that Hu Songhua, with his sincerity and persistence in kowtowing, never stops trekking in the mighty river of vocal music art.
