Song: Ovoo meeting?
Singer: Wang Shuli, Wu Xiuyun
Lyrics: Malachimov, Haimo
Composer: Tongfu
Lyrics:
The fifteenth moon has risen in the sky,
Why are there no clouds beside it? Why are there no clouds beside it
I'm waiting for the beautiful girl? Why haven't you come yet
If there was no rain in the sky, the begonias wouldn't bloom on their own. The begonias won't bloom on their own
As long as I wait patiently, brother?
Expanded:
"Ovoo Meeting" is an episode of the movie People on the Grassland.
"People on the Grassland" is based on the short story "People of the Horqin Grassland" by Mongolian writer Malachinov. The song has been widely circulated, and the original singers in the movie were Wang Shuli and Wu Xiuyun of the Changsha Film Orchestra, who sang the lyrics for many years because of their sincere melody and catchiness.
There are many cover versions of the song, including the chorus version by Wang Jieshi Xelisi, the Blade Runner version, the Zhuo Yiting version, and even the original Mongolian version sung by Burenbayar and Najil.
Ke Lang covered the song in 2006, on the album "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing".
