Jin Xing, born in Shenyang, Korean. She is an outstanding modern dance dancer, and is the pioneer of modern dance in China. She is also one of the most accomplished Chinese dancers in the world and has received numerous honors.
Born in Shenyang, China, on August 13, 1967 (as Venus said in her speech), a male of Korean ethnicity. Showed passion for dance at an hour. Joined the People's Liberation Army at the age of nineteen to learn dance and military skills. At that time, she wished to become Snow White and had a strong desire to change her sex. She once said that when it rained she would run outside in the hope that the rain and thunder would turn her into Snow White.
In 1978, she joined the Shenyang Military Region Forward Song and Dance Troupe.
In 1984, she graduated from the dance department of the People's Liberation Army Academy of Arts.
1985, won the first Chinese dance "Peach and Lee Cup" first place in the junior group, original men's pointe dance, the first performance in France.
1986, won the special prize in the second national dance competition, visited North Korea to participate in the celebration of the "April-Spring Art Festival".
In 1987, she joined the Modern Dance Experimental Class of Guangzhou Dance School to study modern dance.
In 1988, the first Chinese dancer to be awarded a scholarship by the Asia Pacific Cultural Foundation and the American Dance Festival, she went to New York to study modern dance and then traveled to Europe.
1989～1990, held a solo work evening in Seoul, Korea, and was a member of the International Choreography Panel of the American Dance Festival.
In 1991, she was hired as the chief choreographer of the American Dance Festival and created the dance "Half Dream", which won the best choreography award and the title of "best choreographer"; she was hired as the resident choreographer of Italian TV One in Italy.
In 1992, she was employed as a professor of modern dance at the Royal Academy of Dance in Belgium, and founded the White Wind Modern Dance Company in Belgium, and held two personal work evenings.

In 1996, he co-founded the Beijing Modern Dance Company with the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and became the first artistic director. Successfully launched large-scale modern modern dance special "Red and Black", "Sunflower" and "Drunken Princess".

In 2003, she performed in Shanghai and Shenzhen in the modern dance movie "Sea Tango".

In November 2006, she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts from Dartington College of Arts, University of Plymouth, UK.
In 2011, Venus appeared as a judge on the Shanghai Oriental TV Dance Festival program.
