March 3 of the Zhuang is a traditional festival of the Zhuang people, a minority group in China, usually celebrated on the third day of the third month of the lunar calendar. Here is a diary about the March 3 of the Zhuang People:
April 2, 2023, today is the traditional festival of the Zhuang people, March 3rd.
In the morning, I went to the square and saw people dressed in festive costumes, singing and dancing to celebrate this joyous festival. The square was filled with all kinds of food and snacks, red, green, yellow and crunchy, which looked tantalizing to the mouth and mouth, and I couldn't help swallowing them.
Then I took part in some traditional cultural activities, such as making colorful silk threads by hand and weaving reed straw hats. It was fun!
At noon, my family and I ate Guilin rice noodles, a specialty of the Zhuang people. This kind of rice noodle is in the form of thin, round and white, with many ingredients such as chili sauce, bean paste, cilantro, green onion, mushroom and so on, it tastes spicy and delicious! After lunch, we went to a nearby river to release pond lice. Releasing pond lice is catching small shrimp bugs with a net, which is one of the traditional recreational activities on March 3 of the Zhuang people. We played for a long time by the river and also felt a strong ecological flavor.
In the evening, we went to a banquet and heard several elders happily singing and dancing. I felt that Zhuang folk songs have a simple yet strong power to awaken the deepest emotions of human hearts.
Today was an unforgettable day from which I y experienced the unique charm of the Zhuang culture. I believe that such inherited culture and inherited spirit will make people love peace and civilization more.
