"Digital technology + aesthetic innovation" is the visual label of the opening ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympics, 11,000 square meters of ground display, 1,200 square meters of ice waterfalls, 600 square meters of ice cubes, 1,000 square meters of grandstand screen composed of the world's largest LED three-dimensional screen. The 11,000-square-meter ground display, 1,200-square-meter ice waterfall, 600-square-meter ice cube, and 1,000-square-meter grandstand screen make up the world's largest LED three-dimensional stage, which tells the world the most romantic Chinese story with an unparalleled audiovisual feast.
Technology empowered art is a major highlight of the opening ceremony. 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics opening ceremony visual effects director Wang Zhiou said, the entire Bird's Nest oversized ground screen for the first time to realize the full LED image to replace the traditional ground screen projection, picture quality to 16K.
The opening ceremony playback system contains LED ground screen, ice waterfall, ice cube, north and south grandstand screen display screen playback. Among them, the whole screen LED is responsible for displaying 4 8K playback material, the ice waterfall is responsible for displaying 2 8K playback material, the ice cube is responsible for displaying 1 8K playback material, with the broadcast control system to achieve multiple player video output synchronization error of no more than 2 frames.
