1955 July 17, Yu-Ching Fei was born into a family of civil servants. Because his parents divorced, he lived in poverty since childhood. In his early years, he was introduced by his sister Fei to sing in disco, a famous nightclub on Nanjing East Road in Taipei, and began to sing in bars at the age of 2/kloc-0.
1973 participated in the singing competition of "Stars to Stars" organized by China TV Company, and won the fourth place with a song "misty rain and setting sun". One month before joining the army, he sang in Xiao Di Western Restaurant in Taipei, and joined the army for military service after Lu Guangyi's team. 1975, Yu-Ching Fei retired, and then returned to Cape Dis to sing.
1977, under the recommendation of my sister, she was appreciated by Liu Jiachang, a famous songwriter and director, and signed a contract with Haishan Records to officially start her acting career.
Yu-Ching Fei is not only good at singing, but also excellent in acting and eloquence. He imitates singers from Hong Kong and Taiwan, both men and women, and his TV variety shows "Brother Long and Brother Hu" and "Qing Yu Waste Time" are also very popular. Before the curtain, he was the king of bel canto. Behind the scenes, he treats people modestly and sincerely, with no airs at all. 1973 participated in the "Star-to-Star" singing competition organized by CCTV, and won the fourth place, from which he began his singing career. 1977 released the first album "My beloved Miao". 1984 won the Taiwan Golden Bell Award for Best Male Singer for his song Camel Bell. 1986 became popular by singing the theme song "A Plum" of the TV series "A Plum".
1992 won the Taiwan Province Jinding Award for Best Male Singer for his song "Acacia Longer than Dreams". 1993 co-hosted the Taiwan Province variety show "Dragon and Tiger Brothers" with Chang Fei. 1995, 1997 won the golden bell award for best variety show host. 1996 won the Best Singing Album Award in the 7th Taiwan Golden Melody Awards with the album Good Night.
