All the dancers can dance towards the center of the circle or towards the outside of the circle while marching. A single circle can form a double partnership, i.e., both left and right dancers can be their partners

Section A:
Sections 1-4, 9-12, and 17-20, start with the right foot and walk four steps counterclockwise, with special attention to the fourth step when the body is turned toward the center of the circle to regulate the footwork and prepare for the left foot. Prepare for the left foot start.
Bar 5-8, bar 13-16, bar 21-24, start with the left foot four steps clockwise, paying special attention to the fourth step where the body turns to the center of the circle, adjusting the foot and preparing for the start of the right foot.
Segment B:
Bar 1-4, bar 9-12, right foot starts four steps toward the center of the circle.
Bar 5-8, bar 13-16, right foot start back to original position in circle
