Expo Tips Design Other My family and I are going to the Expo for greater than 3 days, what is the recommended route for that venue that is less crowded and fun?

●Day 1 (focusing on Pudong A: China and Asia Pavilion)

8:30 come to the entrance and exit of Yaohua Road and queue up for admission.

Go in at 9:00 and make a reservation to visit the China Pavilion first (the China Pavilion has an all-reservation system, and you can only visit if you make a reservation).

Go to the Celebration Square and visit the opening ceremony. Go to the Expo Center and watch the opening ceremony of National Pavilion Day. Then, visit the Theme Pavilions.

Lunch time, go to Chinese Food Street.

Turn back, watch the show at the Performing Arts Center and visit the China Pavilion.

To the east, see the many Asian pavilions. Among them, the Saudi Pavilion is the largest invested venue among the foreign pavilions, with the world's largest IMAX theater.

After dinner, take a walk to see the Lebanon and other pavilions, with a focus on the Japanese and Korean pavilions. Then, walk down Expo Boulevard toward the Performing Arts Center, where you may run into a parade or go straight to Celebration Square to see the closing ceremony.

●Day 2 (Focus on Pudong C: European Pavilion and some Asian Pavilions)

Arrive at the park at 8:30am, and enter the park through the Changqing Road gate to tour the park. Make reservations for the USA, UK, France, and Switzerland pavilions.

Start from the Thailand Pavilion, visit the Australia Pavilion and other venues, and go to the Theme Plaza to see the show.

After lunch, see the Spain Pavilion. Then go to the Belgium-EU Pavilion, eat free chocolate, take the Europe quiz, and if you're lucky you'll win a diamond, or a trip to Europe.

Stop by the Polish Pavilion for coffee, the Swiss Pavilion for a cable car ride, the French Pavilion for art treasures, and the German Pavilion for interactive exhibits.

Then go to the European Pavilion, take a break at the Kite Forest in the Mexico Pavilion, go to the Canada Pavilion, see the Cirque du Soleil, and eat local food in the Peru Pavilion.

If you go in June, you can watch World Cup matches broadcast in the Brazil Pavilion. Then, visit some of the Americas pavilions.

At dinner time, there are restaurants around the American Pavilion.

In the evening, sweep through a number of pavilions, see Fairytale World at the Russian Pavilion, go to the Romanian Pavilion to see a movie, and go to the Italian Pavilion and the British Pavilion for a closer look.

Finally, end the day at the United Africa Pavilion and buy some souvenirs at the Africa Bazaar.

●Day 3 (focus on zones D and E in Puxi)

At 8:30 a.m., take Metro Line 8 and get off at the South Xizang Road station to enter the Puxi campus.

First, see the Ship Pavilion and some of the private enterprise pavilions. Then, go to the Urban Best Practice Area to see Shanghai's "Shanghai Eco-home", a century-old pawnshop - Macau Tak Seng Press, the Jin Yong Library, Xi'an's Daming Palace, and Ningbo Tengtou Village. See London's Zero Carbon Pavilion, Hamburg House, Saudi Arabia's Tent City, and Madrid's Bamboo House.

After lunch, visit the China Aviation, Information Communication and Automobile Pavilions, starting with the Future Pavilion.

Then, you can watch the show at the Expo Square, and then go to the Aurora Pavilion, Railway Pavilion, and Shanghai United Enterprises Pavilion, and the Jiangnan Park for resting, eating, and viewing the remaining pavilions.

Tips

The Expo Park is open from 9:00-24:00 p.m. The park is closed at 21:00 p.m., and most of the pavilions are closed at 22:00 p.m. If you visit on a weekday, i.e., on May 5, you can see the show at the Expo Square. If you visit after 17:00 on weekdays, i.e. May 4-September 30; October 8-October 24, you can buy a night ticket on the spot at the park for RMB 90 (half the price of a day ticket).
