Sample art lesson plan for small class:Happy Ball

Activity BackgroundAt one time during an autonomous game, I prepared crumpled paper strips of various colors for the children doing crafts. They were very interested in the paper strips, and some of them simply danced with them. The art activity "Happy Dance" was born. In this activity, I combined handmade materials (cotton rope) and painting materials (gouache, paint) organically, so that children can create inspiration in the interaction with the materials, and feel the changes of lines and colors. The whole process of the activity from the word "play" throughout, through the creation of the dance scene, the tools and materials of the changes and the understanding of color and other factors of integration, trying to let the children in the play of painting to experience the fun of art activities.

The flow of the activities of the introduction activities: welcome to the color bar doll to participate in the dance → rhythmic activities: I dance with the color bar doll → demonstration operation: create a rope doll dancing action a creative activity: let the rope doll dance on the paper → evaluation activities: appreciate the rope doll dance → end part: I have a dance for the rope doll.
