Picking the right season
The rainy season in Tibet is very long, usually lasting from May to September, especially in July, August and September. It rains almost every day, while the clouds are so heavy that the peaks are shrouded in them all day long. The dry season is from November to April, when the weather is mainly sunny. February-April and October-November are the alternating dry and rainy seasons each year, and a good time to choose to climb the mountain. However, it is windy at high altitude on this day, with a wind speed of 40m/s and a temperature of -20 to -30, which makes the temperature more variable.
And during this time, October and November happen to be the two months of high and sunny fall. Namcha Barwa is most beautiful at this time.
And it's best to go during the day and at night, as the style of Namcha Barwa is different at these two times.
:Pick your spot from October to April every year
. As for whether you can see it or not, it all depends on luck. Tibetan tour bus drivers drive countless times a year and can only see it about 10 times. If you have a love for Namcha Barwa, it is best not to see it while driving at the entrance of Sertila Mountain, because the time is short and the chances are low. You can go to the Grand Canyon Scenic Area and stay one night in Zhitong Village to give yourself more time and improve the chances of seeing her. In the scenic area, there are places such as Dawuqa, Viewing Platform and Zhitong Village. It can be viewed. Different places feel different.
1. Sedera Mountain Yakou
In the 38 National Highway between Lulang and Bayi Township at the entrance to the Sedera Mountain, early morning mist shrouded the main peak of the Namcha Barwa, suddenly appeared in the mountains at an altitude of 5,000 meters, very visual impact. Looking at Namcha Barwa from a distance, the victory lies in the clear outline and the absolute clarity of the protagonist. But there is always a feeling of mirage, far away, like flowers in the mirror, the moon in the water as unreal.
2. Guanshan tents
Many people will ignore the tents on the mountain. In fact, it is also a good place to shoot Namcha Barwa. If you catch the sunset will be more perfect. It can accommodate hundreds of people to dine and watch songs and dances. It is a comprehensive place to enjoy the scenery of the Grand Canyon and watch the mountains and villages.
3. Namcha Barwa Viewing Platform
Namcha Barwa Viewing Platform is located in the Grand Canyon between Yidian Village and Gega Village on the mountainside terraces. It is the best place to view Namchabawa Peak and the rapids of the Yarlung Tsangpo River Grand Canyon. Looking around this viewing platform is like a 360-degree panorama of the entrance section of the Grand Canyon.
4. Zhizhi Village
Staying at Zhizhi Village, you can face Namcha Barwa from your bed or stand at the foot of the mountain and look up. Looking up at Zhitong Village, which is only 2,600 meters above sea level at 7,782 meters above sea level at Namcha Barwa, the height difference of more than 5,000 meters is absolutely shocking! As night fell, I wandered down to the Gega Hot Springs for an overnight soak in the hot springs, sipping a little wine and singing a little song, and I was back to enjoying the blissful life on earth and the ultimate happiness on earth. The village straight ahead can directly face the snow-capped mountains, but it's hard to see the whole picture because the camera angle is looking up.
5. Sosong Village
Sosong Village is located on the slopes opposite the Yarlung Tsangpo River Grand Canyon and the Namcha Barwa Peak, at a moderate height, spaced out by a large canyon and separated by a certain distance, so that the visual effect can be achieved to achieve a good balance all round. Outside of Suosong Village, on the edge of the Yarlung Tsangpo River Grand Canyon, there is a large barley field opposite Namchabawa. It is extremely open and is one of the best places to see Namchabawa.
Waiting for the rising sun to light up Namcha Barwa bit by bit. When the sunrise finally came, I suddenly thought of "an inch of time is an inch of gold". At the top of the mountain to see the mountain is lit up little by little, the absolute color of the sunshine Jinshan is so sacred and spectacular. When the whole world is lit up, the whole valley is instantly full of life, the sky is more blue, and
Dingdang Ga is located in Zhitong and Gega Canyon between the mountain pass plateau. The east side is hung with sutra streamers and the terrain is slightly elevated, facing the west wall of the main peak of Nanggebawa and its glaciers. Base camp and a retreat are situated here, and you can climb up to the edge of the glacier and fold down the straight white gully to Zhitong village. The word "dingy" means "bliss" in Tibetan, and "danga" means "gopa".
