Dalian, also known as Bin Cheng, the old name of Darini, Qing Naiwa, is a sub-provincial city in Liaoning Province, a planned city. Located at the southern tip of Liaodong Peninsula in Liaoning Province, on the coast of the Yellow Bohai Sea, backed by the hinterland of Northeast China, and the Shandong Peninsula across the sea, it is an important economic, trade, port, industrial and tourist city on the eastern coast of China, and a new first-tier city.
