It is best for fitness qigong practitioners to combine natural breathing with abdominal breathing and use them alternately. The breathing should be gradual, slow, even and deep. And the mind is the premise of relaxation, to achieve a quiet mood, the idea of concentration, to exclude all distractions, with the intention of guiding the work, through the thought of quiet lead to the body quiet, the mind is quiet, the body is loose naturally become.
The pine of Taijiquan is to produce softness through the pine, the tendons and bones are loosened, and the whole body is naturally soft. With the softness of loosening down, you can obtain extreme steel. And through the quiet to pursue the body, the spirit of the subtle changes, so that it is suitable for the technical requirements of the movement, the beginning of the quiet is born soft, the extreme of the quiet is born rigid.
And the pine of fitness qigong is to produce a state of tranquility and epiphany. The main purpose of the quiet is to produce wisdom and function.
Intent: to guard and use one's mind. Taijiquan's "guarding the dantian" means sinking the qi into the dantian, the upper part of the dantian, the lower part of the dantian, stabilizing the chassis, and keeping the mind free from distraction, requiring the dantian to turn internally, thus generating the taijiquan kungfu of "listening to the power" and "understanding the power". "All depends on the mind to use kung fu". Through the use of the mind to achieve "the intention to the qi, qi to the power to".
I don't agree with the idea of guarding the dantian to make the stomach hard, in fact, the dantian should be refining the gas not to leave the gas, refining the power not to leave the power, it is the superior taijiquan kung fu. Fitness qigong intention to guard is to exclude distractions, gather and raise the real gas, the spirit of internal guard. There are three stages: I. As the person in charge of taijiquan team practice, it is more important to choose to practice fitness qigong first, and then practice taijiquan. Currently, there are three forms of taijiquan exists:

With the implementation of the "National Fitness Program" and the implementation of the development strategy of globalization of taijiquan, mass taijiquan movement has been formed. Taijiquan popularity, stadiums, parks, community squares ------ morning exercise people in groups, roaring, hot, especially since the beginning of spring, practicing taijiquan in a hundred people, in the fall there are only a dozen people left.
Why? The findings are: back pain, leg pain, joint pain. The reason is: exercise without layer order, not scientific, do not do preparatory activities, do not press the legs, do not warm up, do not do qigong. Come to the venue on boxing, a practice is two hours, taijiquan exercise for middle-aged and elderly people, is a medium-intensity exercise, must be taken seriously, scientific practice, in order to be able to taiji on the body, to achieve the wonderful realm.
So, I suggest that as the person in charge of the taijiquan team, we should organize two sets of qigong, about twenty-five minutes or so, in order to achieve the effect of warming up, and then practice taijiquan. Those who are interested may wish to give it a try, and it will be effective after a few years.
