On August 4 (Thursday) - 7 (Sunday), a closed main venue and three stages, the Main Stage, the Second Stage and the Electronic Stage, will be set up in Rizhao Sun Square. All three stages are open-air performances, with the main and second stages running from 17:00-23:00 daily and the electronic stage from 18:00 to 6:00 the next day, and there will be nearly 350 Chinese and foreign musicians in 44 bands and nearly 150 electronic dance music musicians on stage over the four days. Among them, no less than two overseas bands and about 20 overseas electronic dance music musicians will perform each day.
The Chinese bands that will perform at the festival are selected from the best bands of the previous Beijing Midi Music Festivals, and are tentatively confirmed to include Cui Jian, Tang Dynasty, Overload, Zhang Chu, and Reincarnation, as well as international top-tier rock bands from the U.S., the U.K., Japan, and other countries. In addition to setting up a large rock stage, the festival will also create a domestic largest "marine electronic dance music party".
As the pre-festival warm-up and later supporting performance activities, the 18 performances of the music season will not be closed to the performance site, open to the audience in turn; during the festival, will be set up in the scene "minstrel camp" area, dining area, etc., to create their own "Kingdom of Joy" fans!
