Longhuahui is the eighth day of the fourth lunar month every year, which is the birthday of Buddha Sakyamuni. Its origin lies in the historical records of the birth of Sakyamuni. According to Volume 1 of past lives Karma Sutra, when Mrs. Moyev was pregnant, she passed through Lumbini Garden and went to Worry-Free Tree (also known as Borneo Tree or Polo Fork Tree) to give birth to Prince Siddhartha.

This historical legend was very popular in ancient India, and Buddhist sculptures unearthed in Rokuyaon and Amoravadi in modern India all have compositions reflecting this situation.
