Heat-excess type: manifested as herpes redness, burning pain, dry mouth, bad breath, irritability and dry stool, suitable for purging excess fire in liver and gallbladder, clearing heat and promoting diuresis, and detoxifying. Longdan Xiegan Pill can be used as a patent medicine, and Longdan Xiegan Pill, Fructus Forsythiae 15g, Radix Rehmanniae 50g, Alismatis Rhizoma 10g and qianzi Pill can be used as decoction.
Damp-heat type: Herpes is yellow-white, the blister wall is loose and easy to break, with water seepage and erosion, accompanied by loss of appetite, abdominal distension and loose stool. It is advisable to clear away heat and dry dampness, regulate qi and harmonize the middle. Atractylodes rhizome 10g, Magnolia officinalis 10g, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae 10g, fried Atractylodes rhizome 12g, Polyporus umbellatus 12g.
Liver depression and qi stagnation type: more common in the elderly. After the herpes subsides, there is still neuralgia. The treatment should be soothing the liver, regulating qi and promoting blood circulation, and Jiawei Xiaoyao Pill can be used as a patent medicine.
A simple prescription is also ok, and the effect is good.
① Take 30g of Portulaca oleracea, 30g of Taraxacum mongolicum, 30g of Viola yedoensis and 30g of Plantago asiatica, wash them and decoct them in water, one dose per day. This medicine is simple and specific, and can heal itself in about 10 days.
② Yunnan Baiyao was mixed with white wine and applied to the affected area, 3-5 times a day, and 0.3g was taken orally, 4 times a day.
