Name: Nobuhiro Kazuki
Gender: Male
Birthday: 1970.5.26
Height: 185cm
Weight: umm ...... No comment ^^^|||
Birthplace: Niigata Prefecture
Hobby: Drawing, reading, and TV games
I began drawing manga in elementary school and continued to write in high school. Hometown:Niigata Prefecture
Interests: Drawing, reading, TV games
Started drawing manga in elementary school, and finished his first manga (podmark) in high school with Kazuki, who was officially a writer in junior high school.
Won the 33rd Tezuka Prize for "Hokuriku Ghost Story", and was admitted to Jiyosha. In '94, he released his first serialized work, "Excalibur" (神剑闯江湖江湖).
Before drawing "Excalibur", he worked as an assistant to the famous manga artist Ken Oda for a short period of time, but it had a profound influence on Kazuki.
Wazuki's favorite manga are Black Jack and American comics such as X-men and Spiderman, while his favorite anime are Neon Genesis Evangelion and children's toys, and he admires the works of Osamu Tezuka, Yoichi Takahashi, Ryuji Jihara, Shigeru Tsuchikata, and Ken Kohda.
As for video games, I like fighting games such as Squire's Soul, Tekken 2, and Vampire Hunter. These preferences are often reflected in Kazuki's works as well.
In Excalibur, my favorite characters are Makimachi Cao, Udon Hedgehog, and Fang Ji, whose performances are most in line with Kazuki's original spirit.
Also because of Drawing the Sword's Heart, Kazuki references a lot of historical novels, with favorite authors such as Sima Ryotaro, Ikenami Shotaro, Shibata Renzaburo.... And so on.
Additionally, Kazuki is a standard Shinsengumi fan, and his favorite Shinsengumi authors are Shinsengumi's Shouzo Tsuchikata, Shinji Okita, and Saito Ichi...etc. He also appreciates Ritsugu Okubo and Kogoro Katsura, who are among the three masters of Shinsengumi.

Hikosai Kawakami, the prototype of Kenshin Himura
At the end of the Shogunate, there were four swordsmen who were known as Hitokiri (人斬), and the prototype of Kenshin Himura's character was one of the four: Hitokiri Kawakami Hikosai (1834-1871)
Born on November 25, 1834, in Shinmajoromachi, under the main castle of the Higo clan, his name was Genmei.
Father Sadasuke Komori was a foot soldier. When Hikosai was very young, he became the adopted son of Kawakami Genbei, who was also a foot soldier. When he was a little older (? How old was he? I think he was in his teens? I can't say for sure.) He became a lowly tea boy for the Daimyo family, and was later promoted to the position of "tea master" (senior tea master) of the National Elderly House because of his prudence in serving tea.
March 3, 1854: The Sakurada Gate Incident.
Hikosai was initially not active in Edo until after the Sakurada Gate Mutiny. At that time, the situation was chaotic after the assassination of the Grand Master, Naobu Iyi, by several Mito and Satsuma ronin. The ronin who fled for their lives hid in the Hosokawa clan's official residence. Hikosai, who happened to be passing by, helped the ronin and gave them medicine to cover them from the concentric pursuit. Hikosai was 26 years old at that time
Hikosai's teachers at that time were Kokugaku Bo Kuan Yin, military science Miyabe Dinzou, and the Imperial Academy Forest Sakuragen, and he learned sword fighting from them (unfortunately, he did not know who his teachers were), and the idea of resisting the Japanese was gradually formed at that time.
March 1862 Shimazu Hisamitsu passes through the Higo clan on his way to Luoyang
The first year of the Bunkyu era was called the "Year of the Emperor's Defense", and it was the peak of the activities of the Emperor's Defense faction, and Tanaka Kawauchisuke, Seiha Hachiro, and Iemuta Shohei, all of whom were from the Higo clan of Kumamoto, came to Hosokawa to persuade Hikosai to join in his efforts to defend the King. Unlike the Satsuma clan, the Hosokawa clan, with Sekigahara Nakanaka in the eastern army and having made great achievements, was regarded as the bulwark of the Tokugawa in Kyushu. Therefore, there was no support for the Kōbutsu merger from the lord of the clan downwards. Shimazu Hisamitsu received Hikosai when he passed through Kumamoto on his way to Shangluo, and after this incident, Hikosai joined the radical faction of the time at the risk of committing the crime of secession.
