Biography:
In 1954, Jia Shijun was selected and transferred to the Comrades Singing and Dancing Troupe, and began to embark on the road of professional singing. He studied voice at the Central Conservatory of Music under Prof. Yu Yixuan and Ms. Zhou Meiyu, the Central Orchestra under Ms. Chen Ling and Ms. Cai Jingyi, and at the China Normal College in Beijing under Ms. Qin Zonghui, as well as at the Bulgarian vocal experts Prof. Qiu Erjin and Prof. Dijakovic, who personally guided him in vocal training.
