Phoenix Legend (Phoenix Legend), founded in 1998, is a Chinese mainland pop group consisting of Yang Wei Linghua and Zeng Yi. 1998 saw the formation of the "Cool Fire Group". 2003 saw the release of the song "Above the Moon", which brought the group to the fore. Early Experience
In 1998, Yang Wei Linghua, a contracted artist of Shenzhen Golden Age Dance Hall, and Zeng Yi, the music director, set up a music team, and out of their love for the South Korean singing group, Cool Dragon, they decided to name it "Cool Fire Group" and became the mainstay of the performing arts center. In the same year, they also took part in the New Talent Award Competition of the Radio and Television Music Festival held by Star Music Station in Guangdong, and entered the final.
In May 1999, the duo teamed up with Zhang Jie to form the "Hairy Nuts" group, and in 2001, Zhang Jie left the group, leaving the remaining two to continue working together.
In early 2003, they met musician He Muyang and sang a song he had written to fight SARS; He then wrote the song "Over the Moon" for the group, which not only set a precedent for the combination of folk music and rap, but also brought them more attention, and in the same year, they participated in a number of performances on CCTV's "The Same Song" program.
