Home?
Singer: Michael Bublé
Album: It's A Beautiful Day
Another summer day
Another summer day
Has come and gone away
Come and gone
In Paris or Rome.... Has come and gone away
In Paris or Rome...
In Paris or Rome
But I wanna go home
I just wanna go home
...uhm Home
.... .uhm Home
May be surrounded by
A million people I
Still feel all alone
I'm still feeling alone
Just wanna go home
I miss you, you know
Dear, I miss you, you know
And I've been keeping all the letters
That I wrote to you,
Each one a line or two
Each line, each word
I'm fine baby, how are you?
Baby, I'm fine, how are you? But I know that
I would send them but I know that
It's just not enough
It's just not enough
My words were cold and flat
My words were cold and flat
And you deserve more than that
Another aeroplane, another sunny place,
Another aeroplane, another sunny place,
I'm lucky I know
I'm lucky. But I wanna go home
But I got to go home
I got to go home
Let me go home
Let me go home
I'm just too far from where you are
Because I'm just too far from where you are
I wanna come home
I wanna come home
And I feel just like I'm living
I feel like I'm living
Someone else's life
Someone else's life
It's like I just stepped outside
When everything was going right
Even if everything was going right
And I know just why
And I know just why
You could not come along with me
This was not your dream
But you always believed in me... ...
But you always believed in me
Another winter day
Another winter day
Has come and gone away
Come and gone
In either Paris or Rome
In either Paris or Rome
And I'm sure I'll never forget it. p>
And I wanna go home
Let me go home
Let me go home
And I'm surrounded by
Despite being surrounded by
A million people I
Crowd surrounded by
I still feel alone
I still feel alone
Let me go home
Let me go home
I miss you , you know
I miss you you know
Let me go home
Let me go home
Let me Let me go home
I've had my run
I'm running
Baby I'm done
Baby I'm on my way
I gotta go home
I gotta go home
Let me go home
Let me go home
Let me go home
To go home
Let me go home
Let me go home
Let me go home
It's gonna all be home
It'll all be alrightI'll be home tonight
I'm coming back home
I'm coming home
Let me go home Let me go home Let me go home Let me go home Let me go home Expanded:
"Home" is a song performed by Canadian singer Michael Bray, with lyrics and music by Michael Bray, Alan Chang, and Amy Foster Gillis. It was included on Michael Bray's fourth studio album It's Time, released on March 28, 2005, as the album's lead single.
On April 2, 2006, the song won the Canadian Juno Award for "Single of the Year".
The song was written by Michael Brearley for his fiancée Debbie Timms. He was alone in Italy at the time, and he wanted to express how much he missed his lover through this song. Michael Bublé wrote the first few lines of "Home" during a soundcheck. When Alan Sheets first heard the lyrics, he thought they contained too much whining, but then he thought it was a good idea to write lyrics about being stuck in Europe and not being able to go home," he said.
Mike Bray was on a TV show with Alan Sheets. Before recording the program, they found a piano backstage, so Alan Sheets sat down on it and performed and recorded the then-completed part with Michael Bublé. They then sent the recording to Amy Foster Gillis Amy Foster Gillis was so impressed by it that she helped Michael Bray finish the song.
