Gwangshan Flower Drum Opera is a unique type of opera gradually formed by the Han folk dances, mountain songs, songs and dances, small plays and fusion of Chu Opera, Huangmei Opera singing, absorbing the artistic characteristics of Han Opera and Qu Opera. Gwangshan flower-drum opera is a kind of Han Chinese opera with soil color and fragrance, collecting the essence of Han Chinese folk ditty, song, flower meeting and dance in the border area of Henan, Hubei and Anhui, and in 2004, the flower-drum opera was included in the folk cultural heritage rescue project of Henan Province, and in 2006, it was also included in the provincial intangible heritage representative works record.
