The TV show "Wish You Ten Thousand Fathoms of Light" starring Zhao Yiqin is based on the novel "Wish You Ten Thousand Fathoms of Light" by Awkward Demon. A young star, Ning Xi (played by Zhao Jia Min), saves a lost boy, Xiao Bao, who has lost his mother since he was a child and is withdrawn from the world, but he relies on Ning Xi. In order to cure Xiaobao, Xiaobao's father Lu Tingxiao (played by Zhao Yiqin) invites Ning Xi to be Xiaobao's live-in teacher, and Ning Xi agrees to help him for free.
On one occasion, Ning Xi meets the fashion designer Gong Shangze and learns that Gong Shangze has been cheated by his ex-partner and is in dire straits. Out of her appreciation for Gong Shangze's talent and her optimism about the future of the national fashion culture, Ning Xi decided to help Gong Shangze rebuild his career and set up a national fashion studio. In the face of the hardships of entrepreneurship, Ning Xi not only actively encourages Gong Shangze, but also runs the market in person.
Looking at Ning Xi's hard work in taking care of Xiaobao while running her business, Lu Tingchu tried to help Ning Xi but was rejected. Through hard work, Ning Xi's studio's national style clothing is recognized at the fashion week, while Gong Shangze's original partner is also punished for plagiarism.
