Is it safe to travel in Nepal Is it safe to travel in Nepal these days

Nepal is located in South Asia, nestled in the south side of the Himalayas, and China is neighboring, is a typical alpine country, where the climate characteristics are very fascinating, of course, is a rare and fascinating type, but the country's geological movement is very frequent, more earthquakes, the safety of travel is worth considering, the following to share with you Nepal travel safety assessment.

Bodaha Great Stupa

Come to the landlocked mountainous country of Nepal which is about 3 hours direct flight by airplane and 2 hours and 15 minutes time difference from China. Everything about the trip was the most amazing arrival. Sitting in the window seat of the airplane, earning big eyes, watching, a cloud seems to be a piece of cotton candy, so want to pick to eat ah, the essence of the foodie is revealed.

The airport is very small but still quite neat and tidy, the sparrow is small, but the five dirty.

Once you get off the plane, the first stop is to the largest stupa in South Asia, the Bodhgaya Stupa, located in Kathmandu, touching the transepts and moving forward, which is said to bring good luck. Then dance with the pigeons, see there are also a lot of local people here to take pictures. Surrounded by a lot of stores selling ethnic jewelry, scarves, etc., as well as open-air restaurants and cafes, this place feels like a more petite place in Nepal.

First look at the stupa - blue eyes

Small open-air restaurant

After the Chinese restaurant to eat at noon, the restaurant across the street is a little bit like a building of their Congress, quite beautiful.

After lunch we went to Nagarkot, known as the "viewpoint of the Himalayas". Our B&B is located in this place. It's a cool and quiet place to stay. You can see the most beautiful sunrise and green valley.

Outside of the B&B

A group of 3 and 4 year olds in their nice school uniforms waved at me and smiled happily. I was in a daze in the car, but I quickly turned my head sideways and responded to their sweet smiles, afraid to miss the moment. I was as happy as a flower when I saw their smiles blossom from within, and their spotless, clear eyes.

The next day after breakfast, we took a bus back to Kathmandu to visit the Patan Durbar Square and the Patan Museum, which has a very Nepali flavor. The dark light flowing in the museum is beautiful.

Nepal is full of temples, each temple to make a wish, there is always one will be realized. With devotion, miracles happen.

Accidentally shot into the silhouette of the feeling

Nepal's best yogurt, must be in the Badgaon Durbar Square to drink.

In the Badgaon square there is a child has been pestering us to buy him a book, beautiful children say the problem is that we do not know where their bookstore? How can we buy him a book?

People choosing postcards and souvenirs

Seeing the living goddess in Nepal is a culture unique to Nepal. I used to think that the goddess lived in a "splendid" house, but it turned out that the goddess lived in a little dilapidated temple, which is very different from what I thought. One of the kids around me asked, "Why does the Goddess look unhappy?" Someone replied "Because the Goddess wants to go out and play!" The goddess was quite pretty looking, but also quite miserable.

Children as young as 3 or 4 years old in kindergarten and students as old as 16 or 17 years old in high school wear neat and beautiful school uniforms. They go to school every day around 10 o'clock. The stores around them open at about the same time. It's a blessing, because in China you're in class at 8:00 a.m. for morning study.

Next, we came to Thamel Street, which is known as the "Little Hong Kong of Kathu". There are many hotels, handicraft stores, bookstores, restaurants, supermarkets and stores. It's a bustling place with people from all walks of life.

This kind of hand-painting is called Mehendi, which symbolizes beauty, good luck and wealth. It is made of pure natural paint, usually 2,3 weeks natural fading, and then disappear. Is a kind of temporary tattoo, I heard that totems stay on the hands of the longer the better. Fear of pain, but also want to tattoo friends can try this.

A 20-year-old Nepalese beauty drew, Chinese said particularly authentic.

In the Monkey Temple, overlooking the whole of Kathmandu, or quite spectacular, although they are some broken buildings. Some of my buddies said that there are so many dogs in the Monkey Temple, and my little friend said that the dogs are here to steal the food from the monkeys, so it will be called the Temple of the Dogs from now on.

In the evening, I came to the wide Naphdi River and saw many people waiting for me. The sun slowly breaks through the clouds to reveal a golden sunset hanging in the sky. Sunsets can be so magnificent.

Napudi River

Indeed, as we all know, in the United States is noon, in France, is sunset, as long as in a minute?

To get to France in less than a minute you can see the sunset. Too bad France is so far away. And on an asteroid like yours,?

you just have to move your chair a few steps. That way, you can see the rest of the sunset whenever you want?

"In one day, I've seen forty-three sunsets."

Love this quote from The Little Prince.

The night was spent resting at a B&B over in Chitwan, and the next day's activity was to go to the Chitwan National Forest Park to see the animals living in their natural habitat.

Xiu Xiu told me that there is a Nepalese boy told her "he likes Chinese girls, think Chinese girls look very beautiful, help him find a Chinese girlfriend", Xiu Xiu smiled and said "where do I find him a Chinese girl ah," I answered. "I think Nepalese girls look beautiful ah." Xiu Xiu agreed, "I also think Nepalese girls look quite beautiful, they have three-dimensional features, eyes very deep."

Back garden of the B&B

Wake up early in the morning from a beautiful dream and have breakfast. Afterwards took a canoe ride and swung on the Naphdi River and saw crocodiles floating on the water bank and beautiful colorful water birds.

The crocodile was about 2 meters away from us, the first time I saw a crocodile that close, I had only seen it before on the Animal World program on TV.

"Keep it down, don't startle it!" A child on the boat warned.

To the shore, through the jungle and over concrete.

Hike through Chitwan National Forest Park and watch Bengal tigers stroll gracefully through the jungle and one-horned rhinoceroses graze leisurely along the verdant river. They have also become rare in this world, and this is one of their last hiding places. I also saw so many plants and flowers that I could see but not recognize. The wonders of nature can only be marveled at.

In Chitwan, it is best to wear rain boots or shoe covers. The muddy ground in the forest is a bit full of mosquitoes, and there are also some grasses that stick to your legs and kinda cut you, so wear long pants.

The afternoon activity is to go on a jungle safari on an elephant. Elephants, although a huge animal, are gentle and full of humanity. They look dull but have a superb memory, far beyond that of humans. They have thick skin but are sensitive to mosquito bites. As soon as I stepped on the back of an elephant, I felt a particularly guilty and sad feeling! All the way to the end of the event. I looked into its eyes and told it a SORRY and felt it heard me. In the future, I will choose another, more beautiful way to be close to it and love it. See you soon! Take care!

The merganser running in the jungle, leaping past, too late to catch a shadow for it, it is gone. The wild boar was looking for food in the jungle, and I saw a small peacock walking in the jungle, so I was able to experience the animal world.

After dinner, enjoy a primitive Tanu ethnic song and dance show in the neighborhood of the lodges.

The last show invited everyone to join in, and the foreigners all ran on stage, foreigners are so good at this!

Today is the last day in Chitwan.

Next stop was Pokhara, this time staying in a hotel.

It's time to eat again, ni food is dark cuisine to me, I can't eat all kinds of spices, all kinds of curry flavors. I just want to eat spicy. Maybe because I am from Chengdu, I like to eat spicy things. This time I forgot to bring some Chinese squash and some Sriracha with me to Nepal. If you are not used to eating curry flavor, you'd better bring some dishes for dinner.

Even the popcorn is curry-flavored

But I later, in Nepal from Pokhara back to Kathmandu on the road, eat the set meal is not bad. Fried noodles, momo, dry-fried potatoes, fried carp, boiled okra, sumptuous. Next to the carp soup did not shoot, very good, than the Chinese soup, flavor focus.

Pokhara, Nepalese spiritual home. The sister who traveled together said jokingly that "it should be the capital of Nepal". This is the highest praise for Pokhara. It is the opposite of Kathmandu.

The afternoon hike to the World Peace Pagoda was a beautiful one. Seeing an idyllic piece of Nepal.

Meet the delicate flowers.

Finally seeing the World Peace Pagoda, a symbol of harmony.

Staying at the steps of the Peace Pagoda, taking a group photo, you have to take off your shoes to climb the tower.

On the tower you can get a bird's eye view of the entire Fewa Lake, the Himalayan peaks, and the characteristic small town of Pokhara.

Another angle overlooking Lake Fewa.

Covered by clouds are the snow-capped mountains

Floating on Fewa Lake

In Fewa Lake, swinging paddles on colorful wooden boats, you can vaguely see the snow-capped mountains behind the mountains, so that the scenery has a kind of hazy beauty, more like a fresh and elegant landscape painting.

Locals laze around the lake

From childhood, I heard that the Himalayas are the highest peaks in the world, in Nepal far away from the Himalayas, to see the year-round stubborn, snow-capped Himalayas, more than 10 years later, growing up, I finally saw the world's tallest mountain. I still wonder if there is a legendary snowman up there? What kind of otherworldly world is up there? Probably like the magic stories in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Magic Wardrobe. For me, the Himalayas are enough if I've seen them once from a distance. Facing the snowy mountains also reminds me of "Love Letters", where the heroine calls out to the snowy mountains in a long, emotional voice.

If you are afraid of cold and want to see the Himalayas, then you come to Nepal. You can see the snow-capped mountains just as well here in your summer clothes.

Sunrise and sunset?

Saw a rainbow three times

Some people were dancing and taking pictures in the Durbar Square, which drew the attention of locals and tourists alike, and everyone was crowding around.

Back to Kathu to rest the next day on the end of the journey. The program plane back to Chengdu. The place where you want to reach finally arrived, the dream came true.
