Introduction of Chen Yi Square

Chen Yi Square is located on the Bund, East Nanjing Road, Shanghai, and in the center of the square stands the statue of Chen Yi, the first mayor of Shanghai in New China. A century ago, Chen Yi Square was home to a bronze statue commemorating British Governor General Bartholomew Baxley.
