What are the folklore of Shanxi?

Shanxi folk culture includes lanterns, red fire, fireworks, stilts, dry boat running, bamboo horse running, cart dance, chair picking dance, lion dance, dragon dance, dragon boat dance, Zhonghuang Gaotai, inverted hanging drums, iron stick and back stick, fishermen playing sea mussels, Master Shen sitting in a sedan chair, Jinnan blood social fire, Yellow River Lantern Festival, Taiyuan social fire, Huairen Wangfo, Pingding tower fire, Nanzhuang rack fire, Wei Feng Gongs and Drums, Jiangzhou drums and music, and so on.

Shanxi has dozens of drum varieties, among which the Shanxi Weifeng Gongs and Drums are representative. The Wei Feng Gongs and Drums is a popular folk square art in Huozhou, Hongdong, Fenxi and Linfen, featuring "Wei Feng": from the configuration of the gongs and drums, the organization of the playing team, performances, and dress, all of them are displaying Wei Feng. Tang Gaozu Wude two years (619 years), Li Shimin in Huozhou battle Liu Wuzhou Department, drums to meet the battle, the gong to close the army, victory, and then passed down the wind of the gongs and drums.
